Fandom Island Museum, Tuesday Daytime
Steven was on time today, which he was rather proud of. After some debate, he decided to take the succulent that Nell had provided and put it on one of the tables in the fish exhibit so it could have a change of scenery. He wasn't entirely certain if Nell would know the difference when she came back and checked on the plant, but he wanted to give it a go all the same.
Besides, it might make a nice decoration for later. Perhaps during lunch, if that's where he happened to eat lunch today.
That done, he settled into his usual position behind the Welcome Desk, ready to help anyone who stopped by.

“I can’t imagine plants being all that complicated to maintain,” Watts mused.

Not that he knew from personal experience or anything.

And yet.
At least the 'dead' wasn't something he had to worry about with Steven?

Steven threaded their fingers together. "Anything in particular bothering you?"

He gave Llewellyn's hand a squeeze then let go so he could resume eating. "You know Marc made a good point the other day. About us."
Because when your boyfriend said he loved you, you did chat about it with the person you were closest to. In every sense of "close."

Steven nudged Llewellyn's elbow with his own. "Darling."

“Has he opinions on terms of endearment, then?” Watts guessed.

Still, his heart soared now that Steven seemed to be on that path as well. Thank you, Marc. "That's precisely what I've been trying to impress upon you this entire time," he said, with a soft, fond smile. "As I've said, you're here," he picked up Steven's hand, and brought it to his chest, just over his heart. "Even when Mr. Spector is living his own life."

Unlike Layla, who assured Steven the breakup with Marc hadn't been because of Steven, but rather Marc's overall lack of honesty.
