Jaye had walked in to Tino blowing a noisemaker at her.

He then presented her with a certificate of completion of a full month at work in a row.

"Joke's on you, I haven't completed anything yet," she said, though when you were getting dunked on by Tino that was probably pretty bad.

"Whiskey," Anakin said, coming into the bar. "Big one."

"Happy newbie day," Jaye guessed.

She'd pour for Anakin. He was acceptable.

"Yeah," Anakin said. "Remember the teacher with the hats from when were were students? Kept getting attacked by the Whomping Willow?"

That Anakin'd had a creepy crush on for a hot second?

"Know, but I remember the tree, keep going," she said.

"She was a Senator from my home galaxy and I married a version of her after graduation," Anakin said. "Her doppelganger showed up today."

"Wait. You were married before," Jaye asked. "You ho."

Not a ho for that.

"I'm not a ho!" Anakin protested, easily derailed.

"Sounds like something a ho would say," Jaye said, maturely. "Also who's the doppelgänger so I can scope her out."

"Jane Foster," Anakin said. "She's teaching superheroing."

"Is she hot?" Jaye.

Anakin whined and thunked his head onto the bar (ew, Anakin, that's gross). "Heartstopping."

"Ew," Jaye said, about that description, not the bar.

Anakin held up his glass from where he still was mashed against the bar. "Tequila."

The alcohol of bad decisions.

"Yeah, that'll help this situation," she said, filling the glass like it hasn't had whiskey in it.

"Nothing will help this situation," Anakin told the bar.

"Unless..."

No. Jaye, no. NO. BE A GOOD FRIEND.

"Unless what?"

Anakin, make better choices.

"Threesome."

Good lord.

"I'm going to need so much more tequila."

Jaye slid the bottle over like a good friend.

"Just don't need your stomach pumped," she advised.

"I'm a grown-ass person," Anakin said. "I will get precisely drunk enough to regret it tomorrow."

"Okay, just don't make me call 911. Because I don't know if that works here," she said.

Anakin gave her a thumbs up with the hand not holding a bottle of tequila. "It's probably raccoons running a rickshaw and that seems worse."

"Imagine the stairs," she said.

"Not with a bottle of tequila in my stomach, I won't," Anakin said. "I refuse."

Some SP today as I have a birthday party that I don't want to go to and an apartment inspection I don't want to clean up for.
