Fandom Museum- Monday

 Connor made his way into the Museum that morning and got to work fairly quickly.  He had been inspired by his talk with Michael the other day and an idea had been planted in his head and it wasn't about to go anywhere, so Connor was running with it.

Once the museum was open, he settled down behind the front desk and got to work tinkering at his current project. Rex soon settled down on his favorite ledge high above the Lobby and watched, giving an encouraging call or trilling chirp as he did.

"Only secret is just to own it, man."

Like Michael wasn't mocked endlessly by his sister for that cowboy hat.

"Hummmm... good point. Don't want that," Connor agreed.

"So, what does... a handsome (and yes that might have been a little lower than normal speaking voice there) cowboy like yourself fancy as far as drinks? And please let it be something other than 'just a beer'" Connor added with a small smirk.

He'd forgive Michael... but he would never understand American's obsession with soda and cheap beer.

"Margarita?" Michael suggested. "I do love good tequila. But what do you have against beer?"

"Nothing exactly..." Connor said with a small shrug. "Just seems the default is a cheap beer. No Gin and Tonic, no ciders... just plain ole beer. I mean it's fine, I like a good beer, just seems some folks are afraid to branch out and try something outside their wheelhouse."

"G&T is overrated. Give me something with flavor, thanks." Said the guy from a canon whose previous iterations all involved the aliens eating everything with loads of hot sauce. "But otherwise, you're not wrong."

"Ah, behold the wonder of flavored gin. Yes yes i know it's not the "acceptable " way but, makes for some good variety."

Connor considered Michael for a moment then gave a sly grin.

"I'll make sure to get some of the good stuff in before ya come over."

"Well, now, I'm gonna hold you to that," Michael said with a smile. "You come from the land of gin, I'm expecting a show."

"Give me at least a couple days to get with Summer and she if she can order me some and you got yourself a deal," Connor said with a wink. "And of course feel free to bring anything you want as well." Cultural drink exchange and all that fun stuff.
