The zombie band were playing some original country songs today as part of their upcoming album. Maybe Kitty had worked here too long but even if she wasn't big on the genre, it wasn't terrible?

The twang was all wrong though.

And in pranced trotted King Arthur with Patsy presumably clomping along like so many empty halves of coconuts behind him, riding straight up to the bar.

"Barkeep!" he said. "I am Arthur, King of the Britons, and I must inspect your chalises, lest the Holy Grail be among them."

Oh boy.

"And what do you do if you find the Holy Grail?" Kitty checked.

"We shall take it back to Camelot," King Arthur explained, "although it is a silly place."

At least, that's what Arthur assumed they'd do with it. The Lord wasn't actually all that clear on what to do with the Grail once they found it, just that they probably should.

"How silly is it?" Kitty had to ask.

"Very silly," King Arthur assured her with confidence. "The Knights of the Round table will sing whenever they're able. But they dine well in Camelot; They eat ham and jam and Spam a lot. In war they're tough and able. Quite indefatigable! And between their quests, they sequin vests and impersonate Clark Gable."

Just to list a few things.

Kitty nodded slowly, considering this.

"You know what, knock yourself out. Don't break any... chalices."

It might be funny.

"Very good," King Arthur nodded, cocking his head at Patsy (who was totally there) before trotting around to the other side of the bar to pursue the inspection of chalices. "Your cooperation is quite appreciated, barkeep. I am glad that this did not need to come to blows."

More so than he realized, really!

"Yeah, that would have been bad," she said, stepping back to give room.

It would have been comedy.
