Raiden was jamming out to the new Taylor Swift album this Friday at the Pizza Planet.

It was for the best for everyone that he didn't know any of the songs well enough to sing along yet.

"Tuna melt pizza?" Steve read, grinning. "Really."

"It's kosher!" Because it was kosher, Steve.

"Well, I mean, for certain values of kosher," Raiden hastily amended. "It wasn't made in a kosher kitchen or anything."

"Huh," Steve said. "That's very inclusive of you!"

"Well, I try," Raiden said. "I would hate for anyone to not be able to have pizza."

Veggie pizza was also kosher and didn't have tuna on it, for the record.

Steve grinned. "That's a great philosophy."

And part of why Steve kept coming back.

"So do you want to try the tuna pizza?" Words that should never have been put together in that order.

"Danny's still a cat, so he'd like that one, right?"

Danny would...probably not, no.

"Cats love tuna, don't they?" Raiden asked, then asked, "Is he like stuck or something?" He might be assuming Danny was a cat shifter. You know. Like was normal.

"They do," Steve said, nodding. "I've done research!"

That secret nerd.

"And it's just something that happens--people turning into animals for a weekend or a week. Then they pop back, usually naked."

"Huh," Raiden said. "Naked, you say." Interesting. "Well, I'm sure that either way, Danny will love the tuna melt pizza!" He was such an optimist.

"I'm sure he will!"

Danny might turn back out of sheer outrage, actually.

"Big plans for the weekend?"

"Not really," Raiden said as he punched in the order. "Well, I've gotta start plannin' for Thanksgiving." He took Thanksgiving very seriously. "I'm guessing you probably don't have a lot of plans if Danny's a cat...although what do I know about cats? Anything else with that?"

"Just the usual workouts," Steve said. "I probably won't watch our usual shows until he's back to himself."

True love.

"Love a good workout," Raiden said, nodding agreeably.

What? You didn't think he got this bod by pizza (and burgers and chips and cake and...) alone, did you?

"He might be able to enjoy the shows," Raiden mused. "I guess it depends on whether or not he has a cat brain, in which case he might like those videos for cats they have online."

"They have videos for cat brains?"

Danny was going to be sooooooo happy!

"And tell me about your workouts," he added. "Mine's mostly cardio so I'm thinking of branching out."

"I think that's a thing I've heard of?" Possibly from a cat shifter he'd slept with. "I could be wrong, though, my family...aren't really pet people." Mortals were bad enough. Dogs lived way too little time. Oh, now he was sad.

But then Raiden perked up and started handwavily sharing his usual workout routine that his player had no idea about because she doesn't speak gym. If Steve thought those weights sounded way too high even for Raiden's general, you know, size, then he would be correct, because Nephilim.

Steve groaned. "Are you another one like Rogers who's gonna lap me and be all smirky about it?"

Because damn, that was a lot of handwavy weight.

"I don't know," Raiden said. "I don't think I'm that fast." Although he was comparing himself to the rest of his family, so...grain of salt. "I wouldn't be smirky about it, though." He didn't really do smirky.

Well, neither did Rogers, but he did pass Steve like five times each run. It got disheartening.

"Maybe we could go for a run together, then," Steve said, smiling. "I go twice a day."

Because he was so, so strange.

"That would be great!" Yay, workout friends! Even if Steve was a delicate mortal. "I'm not that great at stickin' to a schedule," except for when it came to meals, "but maybe you could text me or something?"

"I can do that," Steve said, grinning. "I normally go before dinner so I can be in for the night after."

Connor was hungry and definitely not in the mood to cook. He was in the mood for some quick, easy, and so not healthy for you pizza though!

"Deep dish pizza? Yes please!" Connor said half out loud half to himself as he walked in after considering the special's board.

"Excellent choice!" Raiden told him.

"Be possible to get that with extra cheese, mate?" Connor asked with a grin as he took a seat.

"Sure thing!" Raiden said as he punched in the order. "Be right up. Anything else for you? A drink, maybe? We have beer that tastes like pizza!" Because of course they did.

"Sure, why not" Connor said with a nod and maybe a little too much enthusiasm for that really.

"Great!" Raiden said as he rung it in. Love an adventurous spirit. "You want that while you wait, or with the food?"

"Oh, let's give it a go now," Connor said. "Not like anyone has to worry about driving around here, right?"

"Comin' right up!" Raiden said, and went to get that for him and returned with said beer. "Here you go!"

Hey, Connor considered it a challenge he could not let himself back down from.

Connor took a careful sip and made a small face as he considered the taste then took another drink and nodded.

"Yeah that definitely different, but in a good way, ya know. I like it!"

"Right?" Raiden asked. "I don't know why everyone acts like it's an abomination."
