Tuesday: Groovy Tunes:
"No. No, I do not want to listen to a Frank Sinatra retrospective where we listen to every single recorded version of the song 'Black and White'." Charlie was trying to speak reasonably to the stereo system. Somehow it even had commentary about each version of the song and seriously, yes, it was a great song, but after the fifth version she wished it had never been written.
"He's an incredible singer with a huge body of work," she tried to explain reasonably. "I'm okay with an all Sinatra day, but this is ridiculous."
Nothing worked. Finally she gave up and wrote a charm on the stereo to make it silent. Anything was better than listening to obscure versions of one song over and over. At least the black cats, random though they were, enjoyed snuggling and purred loudly.
[OOC: Brought to you by an actual event where on an hour long ride one night the only station my car radio would get was exactly this. I'm surprised the radio and I both survived.]
