Apparently, Tino had remained his normal charming self over the weekend (could anyone really imagine Tino as a child? Would anyone ever want to?), but the zombie band had all been children? At least, that's what Tino was trying to tell Summer, as he, like a proud parent or something, tried to show her videos of the kid zombie band performing all sorts of public-domain children's songs, like The Wheels on the Bus and Ring Around the Rosey. Summer....did not care and was just trying to figure out how the logistics of that even worked.

And then she realized she was trying to figure out the logistics of something that already, at its core, defied logic, so she just decided to pour herself a shot and just not even bother thinking about it any more than strictly necessary.

It felt like it had been ages since Goose had been to the bar but he had missed it and he looked at the shots hopefully, “do you think I can have double shots for missing the last couple of weeks?”

Apparently his aversion to sugar was already over.

"We'll start with just the first round," Summer offered, which seemed to be becoming her standard response, but she was already setting up a line of shots for Goose, "and see how you feel after that. I'm not sure jello shots really should be like rollover points."

“That sounds fair,” Goose considered as he got comfortable, “I mean I’ve gone two weeks without any Jello shots, I guess I can ease back into it,” he admitted.

Summer gave a sage-like nod at that, glad that he could see reason, but also fully expecting to get to that second round eventually, especially as she asked, "so how've you been these last few weeks, Goose?"

"I think we had enough mac and cheese in class last night. But I'll try the others."

"That's fair," Summer allowed, with a faintly apologetic smile for the man and cheese overload, but she didn't feel that bad about it, either. It was all very thematic, and she was always a sucker for a theme. "How's it going, Stark?"

You know. Since yesterday, and all. The yesterday that wasn't awkward and kind of weird, really...

A very energetic four year-old who had run her poor husband off his feet all weekend and who had ruined a perfectly good Starlight uniform she had never planned to wear again, anyway.

Steven was doing his best to get over to Caritas on Wednesdays. So there he was, at Caritas on a Wednesday. He looked over the shot selection curiously.

"Woooooooow," said Summer, her brows actually lifting in surprise, because she had a running theory that had just been blown straight out the water just then, "you actually showed up when I have a vegan one."

To think she almost didn't make it this week, too, if she couldn't find one that was good to shoe-horn into the theme this week.

And, since, obviously, he was here when she had a vegan jello shot, she was just going to go ahead and set the raspberry limeade one in front of him, whether he wanted it or not.

Either that, or she was really getting rusty on her themes, so, oh, boy, was Summer now hoping Jane wasn't here this weekend, because otherwise there was going to be a whole complex about it.
