The Perk, Saturday morning (11/19)
Yeah, it was cold. But growing up in Chicago meant Marc could just roll with it. Nothing a cup of normal, non-flavored coffee and a breakfast sandwich couldn't handle.
So there Marc was, sitting by the window and catching up on the sports scores from home.

Cashmere.
And thus, having paired the cape with cozy skinny trousers tucked into tall boots, she swanned into the Perk and almost immediately descended upon the poor baristas with a request for hot tea that came from her very soul.
Irene was nothing if not dramatic.
"Morning, Marc," she called once she spotted him, taking a half-second to clock the clothing before determining which name to use.

(No words like enjoy or was a friend, don't be silly.)
He took in her outfit. "Nice cape."
That wasn't sarcasm. He would be pointing this out to Steven later as evidence of cape superiority.

She suspected the latter would suit Marc's interests more than the former.
"Which is grand by me since apparently we live in the Arctic now." Irene. It wasn't even snowing.

Being used to the cold winters up in Maine, he wasn't too terribly frigid just yet but Dwight was wearing his jacket all the same and definitely planned on getting an extra large coffee for now. And maybe another for the trek back home.
The only pressing question was what kind of coffee he was going to get...

And at least they weren't outside Buffalo. It was still a good morning for something hot and sugary from the coffee shop. It was definitely not a morning for iced coffee.Stark ordered one of the toasted white chocolate mochas because he hadn't tried that one and turned to greet Marc with a "hello, Marc." Obviously it wasn't Steven here at this hour.

"Stark," Marc said with a nod. "How's it going?"

And he'd managed to avoid more awkward conversations about Gross Weddings so far so that was a positive!
"And you? Did you do what you needed to last weekend?"

Watts, not-quite-awake, stumbled into the coffee shop and placed his order for a peppermint latte. Being awakened by kitty-zoomies was the sort of thing one needed coffee to compensate for rather than the tea he had on hand.
"Mr. Spector," he greeted, already gravitating towards Marc's table once he had his coffee.

"I am awake at this ungodly hour," he pointed out.
So yes, fine, but that didn't mean he wasn't gonna complain about having to be awake.

So he ordered just a simple latte (a little on the dry side, and if they could be so kind as to add two packets of sugar?), and, once the drink was in hand, he turned and considered the room. Not so much looking for a place to sit (though it could certain appear that he was), so much as he was listening for one.

But a greeting that went without a response? That caught his attention enough to suppose perhaps it may have been directed his way after all. He considered the direction and nodded that way, lifting his cup in a greeting back.
"Good morning for a coffee, isn't it?" he added, figuring there'd be no harm if his assumptions were incorrect and he'd just ended talking to an empty space instead.

But Prompto had helpfully pointed him out at the bar that one night.

He made his way into the Perk and up to the counter by memory.
The woman behind the counter is getting coffee for someone, John informed him, so Arthur waited. Okay, she's back.
Arthur nodded. "Earl Grey tea, please, with a little milk."
