Stark Industries, Friday
Well, everything was incredibly weird, but they had an idea on how to fix it! Kind of. It just involved building a time machine to send people back to the nexus point for all these changes and guests.
If they put their heads together and didn't end up in a fist fight or something, it'd be fine!
Right? Right.
At the very least, there was the best equipment that Tony could get to the island on short notice in addition to his usual lab supplies. Just. You know. No one travel back to the 50's to live there, completely breaking the pre-established rules of time travel.

Re: Coffee Station
She meant that absolutely sincerely. The other geniuses here were probably all quite bright, too, but Amaya's particular...creativity combined with tenacity combined with that confidence seemed like it would be very useful in this application.

Re: Coffee Station
Maybe a little hard to work around the CPAP machine if she had it hooked up, but still.
"You'll say if you need another set of hands?" she added, since Irene really wasn't here just to be pretty and drink coffee, and would eventually help.
Re: Coffee Station
She met more the mess of all the confusion and the invaders, of course, though it did extend to the respectably untidy state of Tony's lab to begin with, a state she herself could only approve of.
And she didn't sound too distraught about it, either, because if they weren't in this mess, then she wouldn't have a chance to subtly sort of scope out both his set-up and all his shiny little whatzits and doodads. Speaking of borrowing...
As for the rest, she nodded assuringly , but still asked, "No new fancy manicure or anything like that to be worried about?"
And Irene was pretty good at being pretty and drinking coffee, if you got right down to it.
Re: Coffee Station
But. That being said -- sometimes she was willing to consider a broader definition when it came to people she particularly liked.
"Nothing I'm not willing to sacrifice for the greater good," Irene assured her, and she'd even go so far as to potentially muss up her hair or rip a stocking if the occasion truly called for it. It did seem to be an all-hands situation, after all. "I can think of no better reason than victory over hideous 90s French tips than to get a touchup, anyway."
