Don't ask exactly how Summer managed to foist koala-Stark onto Tino. The important part was that she had, she was feeling very proud of herself, and she was giving both of them a very wide breadth to avoid having the koala foisted back on her until the end of the night.

She would absolutely subject koala-Stark to Tino for the duration of the evening so that she could better do her job, but she would never actually subject the poor guy to having to deal with Tino for any longer than that. She liked Stark, after all. But she also liked not having a koala clinging to her at all times, too.

She did, however, have some duct tape ready for the inevitable moment when Tino tried to foist Stark on the zombies and they found out why that wasn't going to go over very well.

"Good point," Watts smiled at him. "Either way, I shall be happy as I will be spending time with you."

In the sunshine. Which he was desperately looking forward to.

"If it does work out we've more time to go shopping as well," Steven said. Not that he'd been thinking pleasant thoughts of Llewellyn trying on modern bathing suits or anything.

"Shopping?" Watts took a second to parse that, because usually Steven and shopping weren't the sort of things he'd group together unless it was perhaps book shopping. "Oh. Yes. For a swimming costume, you mean."

"If you decide you need one," Steven said. He didn't want Llewellyn thinking that Steven didn't like his clothing. Steven very much did.

"I am thinking on it."

He certainly thought Steven looked appealing in his, that was for certain.

"I'm excited," Steven admitted. "Plus more sunlight for you before we go to Toronto. Be a bit of a contrast there, won't it?"

"Indeed. It's a shame I can't bring it with me."

Someone needed to introduce Watts to those light therapy lamps. Not that such a thing would be of much use in 1910, but in general.

"At least I'll have my new suit to keep me warm?" Steven said, trying to look for the bright side. He smiled. "That's new suits for both of us, in a way. If you decide on one."

"Clever," Watts said, grinning at Steven.

Steven grinned back. "Still. Be nice having the time before we go. Especially if we'll be needing to behave ourselves as well. In Toronto, I mean."

"Oh, yes," Watts said. "We ought to plan on... quite a bit of misbehaving, if I've anything to say about it."

Steven gave Llewellyn a coy look. "Not on the beach as well?"

"I suppose that depends on how secluded this beach is," Watts mused. "Although- we've got a sun deck and a pool to ourselves, remember." He'd been hesitant to book something so extravagant at first, but upon finding out the room rate wasn't actually that much more than a regular room, well. It was still within their budget, so he'd gone for it.

"It's true," Steven said. He did have fond memories of the hot tub in their room back in Portugal. "Though I still get to show you off at times, don't I? Beach or elsewhere."

Watts smiled, though the smile did hold a tinge of sheepishness as he recalled his earlier worry that Steven perhaps did not want to be seen with him. "Of course," he said. "We'll be going on that wine tasting, after all. And- there's a Cuban restaurant I found that offers live entertainment on Friday nights, so if we extend our trip we should be able to take in a show as well as get dinner." And also there would be a night of dancing.

"Music?" Steven asked, looking excited again. "Oh that'd be brilliant. I'd love that. We'd be able to make it then? If we stayed?"

Watts loved that particular expression gracing Steven's face at the moment, would absolutely move heaven and earth to put it there more often.

(Too bad of the two of them, it was Steven who actually had any sort of ability approaching that.)

"It's the restaurant attached to the hotel, so yes, it shouldn't be a problem," Watts confirmed.

"That's brilliant," Steven said. But then something occurred to him. "Only - what about Raphael? Miami, then Toronto. It's a long time without us."

Yes, Steven said "us" even though it was technically Llewellyn's cat.

Well, Raphael certainly considered Steven his, so really, 'us' wasn't incorrect.

"Oh," Watts frowned. Even if Nell were able to look in on him the entire time, Steven was right. "Perhaps a late portal on Friday night? So we could still catch the show, but be back in time for an entire weekend at home." Lots of time to shower attention on the cat and reassure him that he wasn't being abandoned.

Steven relaxed. "That sounds right. Not too long without us. Can't have him thinking he's unloved."

"Not after all that work we did coaxing him out of his shell," Watts agreed.

"Hopefully he'll be understanding," Steven said. He reached over to brush his fingers against Llewellyn's hair. "His dad needs sunlight like he does. Only you can't lay about in a beam on the floor."

Though now Steven was wondering if Llewellyn had tried it.

Watts closed his eyes, smiling softly at the touch. “But that I wish I could.”

He’d never tried it, no.

"Plenty of sun next week," Steven said. Then, since admittedly he'd only looked at the start of the week given their original plans, he added, "Least far as I saw."

Watts nodded. “I am very much looking forward to it. But that’s not all. I am looking forward to spending time alone with you.” Which yes they did plenty of here, but it was absolutely different on holiday.
