Summer was, admittedly, a little nervous to come into the bar today, wondering how Tino might have responded to her and Jane's little lightly playful but entirely within earshot disparaging of how sad and pathetic he was, and she suspected it was going to have something to do with beets.

But the fact that there was nothing--in fact, there was nary a beet to be found--and that Tino just sort of....went about his work in an inoffensive, almost even pleasant, way, was actually so much worse, because now Summer sort of felt like she was on the defensive for whatever he might spring on her later, which...

Alright, okay, well played, Tino. But she was watching you, she'd be ready for anything you tried to pull, dammit.

It had been a busy day. Good. Productive Enjoyable even. But still busy. "Hey Summer, how's it going?" Connor said as he took a seat.

"Hey, Connor," Summer met his greeting with a smile. "Not too bad!"

Well, except the paranoia, maybe. But anyway!

"How about yourself? What can I get for you tonight?"

"Too busy to get into much trouble, so... good" he said with a grin. "And let's go with the usual- one of each and see how that last one looks by the time we come to it!"

Bold words, Connor, when there were four different Cup Noodle soda flavors to contend with here, but Summer very dutifully started setting out the shots, with the more enticing and normal ones set up in front. She wasn't going to say anything, but she was definitely going to keep an eye on his face when she kept going after setting down the first Cup Noodle shot.

"Oh, yeah?" she asked as she placed the shots. "What's had you so busy? Don't say Cutter."

Connor did note there the shots seemed to just keep lining up. But... he could handle it. He had done fine before... on the trip... no that wasn't a good example... one of the other jello nights.... ummmm no not a good example either. Eh, he'd be fine.. probably.

"Errrr.... well aside from Cutter, got through most of my comics and memorabilia collection and pulled out what I don't want anymore. Was quite an undertaking really." So many boxed Summer. So...many...boxes!

Some lessons were truly best learned through experience, really. And sometimes often repeatedly.

"Woooow," Summer said, lifting her eyebrows, having been adjacent to more than enough nerds (one for several years, thank you) to imagine what an impressive endeavor this must have been. "And what are you going to do with all of that crap now?"

Honestly, the more impressive part was that a nerd would actually be willing to let any of that crap go in the first place.

"That part I haven't quite figured out just yet," Connor said with a slight frown. "Thinking maybe posting up the collections online, see if I can sell them and make a little something at least. Got some big things coming up I should start saving up for after all."

"Wrll," said Summer, "if you decide to put them up on ebay or something, shoot me a link and I can help driving up the price with some strategic bidding, if you want."

"Aye will do, thanks" Connor said. "Guess anything that doesn't get sold I can always see if Steph wants or needs any inventory for the shop."

"Hey, yeah, that's not a bad idea, either," Summer said with a nod. "Any of it anything good or noteworthy?"

"Got some full series runs, couple first appearance issues for some minor but popular characters, more figures and miniatures than one person should probably own," Connor admitted with a grin.
