Tuesday: Grooovy Tunes

Charlie had had a long and satisfying, if exhausting, weekend back home, but she was glad to be back in Fandom. She'd sat in to play with a punk Country band, so she was playing some of those songs in case they wanted her to play again with them sometime.

The stereo wasn't particularly happy with this development and kept inserting loud blares of marching music, but Charlie wasn't sure it hurt with this particular type of music.

In any case, Charlie was here and happy and Groovy Tunes was open!

Oh, Graham could just die a happy little bandicoot, to be all nuzzled up in a sling against Charlie's chest! Hopefully, he wouldn't actually, but he would be contented enough for it, either way!

Somehow, Graham managed to give his best bandicoot version of a proud thumbs up at how quickly Charlie seemed to be picking up all his various squeaks and chirps, and then followed it up with another eager thank you, and a reassurance that Triumph wouldn't mind at all! Triumph, after all, adored Charlie, almost as much as Graham did!

And if bandicoots could blush, then this bandicoot was doing just that and scratching behind his ear a little bit in sheepish relief that Charlie hadn't started to understand this language nearly enough to have caught him saying that!

There was no mistaking that the little squeaks out of Graham now were meant to be a big, appreciative laugh, little paws on his belly with the force of it, because that really was a good one! And then he was basically just looking up at Charlie with his big round bandicoot eyes all shiny with awe and appreciation and being just a little over the moon over her calling him cute, especially since he was pretty confident that she hadn't even just said it in service of a great pun.
