Streets of Fandom, Thursday
One upside to whatever weird thing that was going on was that a real solid hit took the animal monsters down and changed them back to human so far. And Jane was nothing if not capable of a real solid hit.
"C'mon! Let's go!"
And yes, she was definitely enjoying this more than someone should.

"It just seems mean to punch animals," Raiden observed. "I mean, I will, because they keep tryin' to bite me." He was a sensitive soul, okay?

Or cause more. Because epic fights in the streets and all that.
"You good?" Jane asked to check in on him. Because could go... well, maybe not all day. Lunch would be nice sometime in there.
no subject
Sometimes, you had to check on the checkers, too!

She nodded a greeting at Jane before slamming an agiel into a moose's head until it turned back into a human. "Occasionally this island's bullshit is enjoyable."

She had a shotgun slung across her back, her pistol out and gripped in both hands, as she made her way through the streets and carefully kept her back to a wall as often as she could.

Now one (or six depending on how you kept track of time) year ago, she would have been on board with them as a very squishy human being.
"Need any help?" Jane asked.

"I'm all right," Nancy assured her, lifting a hand off her gun to flutter a wave at Jane. That was kind of the main thing Nancy could offer in situations like this: self-sufficiency. "That is a...hell of a hammer, wow."

Ones that didn't involve a were-raccoon hurtling at them maybe?

He could tell already that the cape needed to go. And he missed the shield. "Hey, Jane," he said with a smile.

And then she noticed the costume.
"Ah, a new look?"
no subject
"It's a prototype," Steve said, blushing around the mask.

Stark didn't much care. He was just angry and wanted to attack things. Or people. Or both! He was a crazed werebeast and couldn't afford to be picky.

Then made a face and shook her head.
"No, that's not it."

Stark wasn't even impressed by Jane's godly arms in this state. If he had been he wouldn't be growling and stomping closer.
