Steven had finalized his proposed Pride related signs, brochures, and posters for the museum, gotten Blathers' approval, and had them printed. Which meant today he had the pleasure of setting them up.

It wasn't as though they had an abundance of things which related to Pride specifically. However, Steven was rather - well, proud of how he'd been able to figure out which things they did have which related to the topics of gender and sexuality.

As such, there were signs by the relevant displays which explained the connection to the theme. Brochures which provided a guide to where in the museum the specific exhibits could be found, and posters welcoming people to come in and have a look at it all.

Steven set up the signs around the museum first, then took care of arranging the brochures neatly on the Welcome Desk and hanging up the posters both outside the front door and around the lobby.

Amazingly he didn't fall off the stepstool while hanging posters up. So between that and being proud of the culmination of his work on the Pride exhibit, it was a good day as far as Steven was concerned.

"Wow, place really has changed since yesterday," Connor said with a grin as he walked in and looked around. "Looks like you have been busy, Steven."

"Connor, hello! How are you?" Steven asked. He tried not to look too worried about the state of Connor's recovery but he did wonder how it was going.

"Doing alright, all things considered" Connor said with a shrug. "Been better but definitely been much worse so will take it as a win right now. How about you?"

Steven was curious how things like Connor's hand were progressing but he wasn't going to push if Connor didn't walk to talk about it. "Doing well, thank you. Can't believe it's June already. Time's going far too quickly. You? Able to do anything fun in spite of it all?"

"Oh time has definitely been flying by" Connor agreed. "At least in some ways. Taken bloody long enough to get the damn brace off" he said, lifting his hand as he did. "Hopefully the physical therapy and everything goes faster, though the docs keep warning me it's going to be a long road to recovery, and it... it might never fully heal back to normal." Connor shook his head slightly and forced a small smile. "But it's getting there. And at least it isn't my dominant hand or anything right?"

"I hadn't even thought of that," Steven admitted. He gave Connor a look of sympathy. "Disaster for certain. But the doctors are right. You should take care of yourself. Better to heal right the first time. If there's anything I can help with you'll be sure to tell me? How about things here? Can we set things up for you so you're not using your hand as much?"

Not that Steven could think of things off the top of his head that would be useful for himself if he had to rest his non-dominant hand at work. But he figured better to offer just in case Connor had ideas.

See, that was why you were good people Steven, and Connor couldn't help but smile a bit.

"Ah, thanks for the consideration, mate. But... I should be good. Just gotta mostly stay out of my own way, cuz you really can be your own worst enemy at times. But if I think of anything, I will definitely let you know."

Connor looked around the museum lobby again. "Looks like you have been busy today with all this though. Looks great!"

"It's an open offer if you think of anything," Steven said. He smiled at the praise. "Cheers! I wanted to try to do something bigger than last year. Not that we've that much but I think any bit helps, yeah? Get into the spirit of things?"

"Oh for sure, every bit helps. Props on doing all this. It's.. it's nice to see."

"I know Steph appreciated the support last year," Steven said. "Are you planning on going to the Pride event later this month?"

"Plan on it for sure" Connor grinned. "Looking forward to it. Didn't spend much time checking it out last time, so definitely want to remedy that this time."

"It was very nice last year," Steven said. "Even a parade with pets. Don't know if they're doing it again this year but maybe you and Rex could join if they did?"

"Oh that would be bloody brilliant if they do" Connor said, "I'm sure Rex would enjoy it too, little guy loves getting out of the apartment!"

"He could fly about," Steven said, smiling as he considered the mental image. "Maybe wearing a rainbow bow tie."

Not a necktie, obviously. It might get in the way of his wings.

Nell dropped by to see how Steven's decorating for Pride had progressed. "Oh, Steven, this looks wonderful!"

"Hello, Nell!" Steven said with a cheerful wave. He looked around proudly. "Doesn't it though? Designed them all myself."

The posters would not be mistaken for expert graphic design by any means. But they did share the relevant information while looking welcoming with their rainbow decorations. And there was no use of Comic Sans!

"You did an excellent job," Nell said with a smile. "I really like them."

"Cheers," Steven said. "How are you? How are your bees?"

"My bees are buzzing along quite happily," Nell said easily. "Everything is looking very good!"

"That's excellent," Steven said. "Plants enjoying the warmer weather as well?"

"Everything's getting ready to bloom," she said, "Spring always makes me happy."

"How are you doing?"

"Well," Steven said. "Watched that event they have on Wednesdays yesterday. That was certainly interesting. Oh! And the other day I tried bike riding with Llewellyn."

"Professor Skywalker's events are always... unique," Nell agreed. "And bike riding? Where did you do that?"

"In the holosuite? In our building?" Steven said. He smiled fondly. "Llewellyn made a park just for us."

"That's amazing," Nell said. "I wouldn't know how to begin to do that."
