Jane was looking forward to a nice, quiet day at the bar after the influx of people for dates last week. Instead, she got Tino attempting to run his own dating service with only the zombie band as clientele.

As such, Jane was sticking to the other end of the bar, watching on abject horror.

"Yeah, it might be best to avoid falling," Jane replied slowly. "But you get to fly in space. Which is great."

She, sadly, could not access the Bifrost for that.

"You still need to show me that," Jane said. Like clearly ot hadn't been her being busy here.

"Now that school is back in session, I'd be happy to," Anakin said.

"Of course I'd explain how it works!" Anakin, secret Giant Nerd, agreed.

She was going to demand all the details on how hyperspace worked now and Anakin only had himself to blame.

"I'll pay you back somehow," she promised. "Free drinks?"

"I'll never say no to free drinks," Anakin said with a grin.

"Maybe not doubles," Jane added quickly. Because someone would probably notice that. "And you can test out your laser sword on the hammer."

"Lightsaber," Anakin corrected quickly. "And yes, that sounds fun, too. I need to work on a new obstacle course for Rey, too."

"Ooo, I can asked Valkyrie for suggestions. She's good at them." Also terrifying.

"I would love suggestions," Anakin said, sipping from his drink. "I want to continue to challenge Rey."

"How does a spike trap sound?" Because it had been used on Jane for the time she spent in New Asgard.

"Painful," Anakin said, "but that's not a dealbreaker."

Just the best teacher. Truly.

"She did one and then had another one ready for the spot I'd jump to in order to avoid the first one." Because of course she did.

"Oooh," Anakin said, grinning unhelpfully. "That's really tricky."

"It was pretty mean." Of course Jane would think that and still suggest they do it to Rey.

"And then I can put the quick sand."

"Quicksand?" That was a new one here! "I didn't think it was that much of a threat."

[sith_happened]

"Well, it was on the planet I grew up on, but I'm an outlier," Anakin said. "Maybe the quicksand with a bear trap at the bottom of it?"

ANAKIN.

"That's a good idea."

JANE, C'MON.

"Definitely a mistake you'd only make once," Anakin said.

And the clinic would get some practice! Win/win!

"Sure," Anakin said, nodding. "I know field medicine so she wouldn't die."
