Jane was looking forward to a nice, quiet day at the bar after the influx of people for dates last week. Instead, she got Tino attempting to run his own dating service with only the zombie band as clientele.

As such, Jane was sticking to the other end of the bar, watching on abject horror.

There was already an arm on the floor.

Anakin had a few hours free, so he headed down to Caritas and saw the scene unfolding with barely disguised horror.

"Are those drinks strong?" he hissed to Jane. "Because I'm going to need something strong."

"I could make the cocktail a double," she offered. Don't think she wouldn't use you as a human shield though, Anakin.

"Please," Anakin said, looking at the floor arm.

[needsacatchphrase]

"I have a lot of concerns about Tino right now," Jane said, getting started on that drink.

"They're all valid," Anakin said, nodding. "I've known the guy for almost twenty years."

Terrifying thought.

"That's a terrifying thought."

"Made me feel a little younger," Jane remarked.

Anakin glared. "Thanks so much."

"You're the one who said it," Jane replied, adding the requisite double alcohol to survive the zombie love affair going on there.

Well, double alcohol almost made it okay.

"I suppose it doesn't help that you've met Jaina, either, though that is a trick of Fandom's relationship with time. Luke, though, is also an adult."

"Actually being someone's grandma would cause me to cry and need ice cream," Jane replied. "And wine."

She wasn't prepared for it! Even if it was fake and weird doppelganger thing.

"I didn't cry," Anakin said, "but there might have been ice cream."

[needsacatchphrase]

"And the wine?" Jane asked, pushing his cocktail over to him. Was she maybe not sure how to make it a double without doubling everything? Yes. So enjoy your big ol' glass.

"There was definitely wine," Anakin agreed, sipping from his giant, giant cocktail.

[needsacatchphrase]

Jane nodded in approval that it was a perfectly reasonable response. "That aside, what have you been up to lately?"

"Training Rey," Anakin said with a little smile, "and now teaching a class on diplomacy."

Which should go well, given his charming personality.

[needsacatchphrase]

"On diplomacy," Jane repeated. Now, she hadn't known him for as long as, say, Tino, but...

[sith_happened]

"Jedi are excellent diplomats," Anakin said.

Just...maybe not Anakin.

"Would you mind diplomatically stopping the zombie... thing happening here?" She asked, sounding honestly a little hopeful that it was possible.

"I can," Anakin said, "but it will involve them playing music again."

[needsacatchphrase]

"...I want to hope Kitty wouldn't mind it?" But it was tough to say. Maybe if they explained it in the right way. "You know what, as long as it doesn't get you... blooped out of here."

"Well, the Force has an effect on the weak minded, and I can't think of much weaker minded that them," Anakin said. "I was going to make them go back to work."

[needsacatchphrase]

"...I'll allow it," Jane decided, mostly because this saved everyone from zombie makeouts.

No one needed to see zombie makeouts.

Anakin strode over to the zombies and swiped two of his fingers through the air. "You are wasting time like this," he said, concentrating. "You should go back to work."

[needsacatchphrase]

The zombie repeated what he said, but in a garbled, zombie fashion.

But then went back to the drums, still one arm short.

"You know, that seems pretty useful," Jane said.

"It really is," Anakin said.
