Caritas; Wednesday [11/22].
Well, today was Blackout Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, where most bars in America were said to do some of their best business of the year. A bar on Fandom Island was likely a bit different, but Summer hoped there was still at least a good showing tonight, if only because then it would keep Tino busy so she was less likely to have to deal with him doing anything weird like dressing up like a Pilgrim or letting a bunch of actual turkeys onto the stage to perform some karaoke.
...okay, maybe she would like to see that last one. For, like, a minute, and then she was pretty sure she couldn't wait to see all those turkeys plucked and roasted or maybe even deep fried and the centerpiece of someone's very awkward family holiday. But who knew? Maybe they'd get the turkey equivalent of Pavarotti up there or something.
Not that it mattered, because Tino had no intention of bringing in any turkeys, but that was beside the point.Something needed to fill up the text of the post, so why not that?

The Stage - 11/122.
The Bar - 11/22.
Re: The Bar - 11/22.
He settled onto his usual stool then gave Summer the usual soft smile. "Hello, Summer."
Re: The Bar - 11/22.
Re: The Bar - 11/22.
"And I can be very thankful for not having to have turkey jello!"
Re: The Bar - 11/22.
Threatened.
Same difference, although the turkey shot was still safely separate from the others as she then tilted her head with a soft smile back. "And hello, Stark," she added, "how has your day been?"
Re: The Bar - 11/22.
"The day was quiet. It's been a quiet week since everyone came back to being their usual selves. Did class go well?"
Re: The Bar - 11/22.
"And class was fine," she shrugged. "I got lazy, so it was just Blips & Chitz today. Hard to go wrong with big ass space arcade."
A pause.
"Have I ever dragged you there before?"
Re: The Bar - 11/22.
Well. Sometimes. Sometimes he just panicked under pressure. Not usually this sort of pressure though.
"I went to an arcade for Liam's birthday once but it wasn't in space. It was loud. I don't remember going to yours?"
Re: The Bar - 11/22.
"Loud in a bad, no thank you, never again kind of way?" she checked. "Or loud in just a general, accurate description kind of way?"
Re: The Bar - 11/22.
"Just loud," Stark said. "I wasn't expecting it to be so...much. I could try one again. If you wanted. Now that I know more of what to expect."
Re: The Bar - 11/22.
"Maybe we should go sometime, then," she said with a nod. "Could be fun. You could even win me a prize if you were good enough at the games..."
Or just had enough time and money to pour into them, anyway.
Re: The Bar - 11/22.
"I'd try to win you something," Stark agreed. "But I might not be good at any of the games. We should go. Sometime. Unless your grandfather would find us there too."
Re: The Bar - 11/22.
"I mean," Summer admitted, somewhat reluctantly, "it's always a possibility. That guy fucking love Blips & Chits almost as much as he loves Boob World."
Don't worry, Stark, Summer would not be inviting you to accompany her to Boob World, too.
"But it's a big place, we should be fine if we just avoid the Roy consoles."
Re: The Bar - 11/22.
"I still think it's very odd you have a whole planet of...boobs," he said. It was definitely for the best Summer not take him there. His awkwardness might cause him to combust.
"But if it's a big enough place, the arcade not the other one, then we should go. And avoid anything there your grandfather might want to play."
They'd pretty much guaranteed a Rick sighting, hadn't they?
Re: The Bar - 11/22.
"I'll bring my portal gun," she offered. "That way, the second we get sight or sound....or, let's be honest, smell of him, we can just hop off to somewhere else."
Surely, there was no way in which that could backfire!
Re: The Bar - 11/22.
"That sounds like a good idea. Very wise. But you're full of good ideas...and some terrible ones about food. You're not doing anything terrible to any food tomorrow, are you?"
Re: The Bar - 11/22.
Re: The Bar - 11/22.
"At least not too much. Should I make something for the weekend? Not something gross."
The Lounge - 11/22.
The Back Room - 11/22.
Go home with one that isn't actually yours and only discover that fact when you put your hand in one of the pockets and regret it.
OOC - 11/22.
