Caritas; Wednesday [11/22].

Well, today was Blackout Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, where most bars in America were said to do some of their best business of the year. A bar on Fandom Island was likely a bit different, but Summer hoped there was still at least a good showing tonight, if only because then it would keep Tino busy so she was less likely to have to deal with him doing anything weird like dressing up like a Pilgrim or letting a bunch of actual turkeys onto the stage to perform some karaoke.

...okay, maybe she would like to see that last one. For, like, a minute, and then she was pretty sure she couldn't wait to see all those turkeys plucked and roasted or maybe even deep fried and the centerpiece of someone's very awkward family holiday. But who knew? Maybe they'd get the turkey equivalent of Pavarotti up there or something.

Not that it mattered, because Tino had no intention of bringing in any turkeys, but that was beside the point.Something needed to fill up the text of the post, so why not that?

"If you don't make me have the turkey one I can keep being thankful all night," Stark said. He was grinning now.

"The day was quiet. It's been a quiet week since everyone came back to being their usual selves. Did class go well?"

"I can handle pressure," Stark said.

Well. Sometimes. Sometimes he just panicked under pressure. Not usually this sort of pressure though.

"I went to an arcade for Liam's birthday once but it wasn't in space. It was loud. I don't remember going to yours?"
stykera: (ok)

Summer was currently the only judge of that.

"Just loud," Stark said. "I wasn't expecting it to be so...much. I could try one again. If you wanted. Now that I know more of what to expect."
stykera: (ok)

Stark emphatically did not want other opinions at this time.

"I'd try to win you something," Stark agreed. "But I might not be good at any of the games. We should go. Sometime. Unless your grandfather would find us there too."
stykera: (awkward)

Stark did not consider it a loss. He was very happy only having the one opinion on the subject at this point in his life.

"I still think it's very odd you have a whole planet of...boobs," he said. It was definitely for the best Summer not take him there. His awkwardness might cause him to combust.

"But if it's a big enough place, the arcade not the other one, then we should go. And avoid anything there your grandfather might want to play."

They'd pretty much guaranteed a Rick sighting, hadn't they?

Summer was worth dealing with Rick though. Stark was okay with it. Mostly.

"That sounds like a good idea. Very wise. But you're full of good ideas...and some terrible ones about food. You're not doing anything terrible to any food tomorrow, are you?"
stykera: (ok)

"I'll try not to inspire you," Stark said as he reached for one of his shots.

"At least not too much. Should I make something for the weekend? Not something gross."
