Fandom Island Museum, Thursday Daytime
Thursday was just Thursday for Steven. He knew it was a holiday for others and he hoped those who celebrated were enjoying it. But for him it was a day like any other.
He also knew that there were those on the island who might not celebrate. Either because they weren't American, or even if they were they not want to acknowledge the day for any number of personal reasons. If so, a distraction might be welcome.
As such, Steven was happy to be at work, behind the Welcome Desk, ready for anyone who might need something to occupy their time, an escape, or just somewhere to be.
He did make sure to put a sign on the front door saying YES, WE ARE OPEN just in case.
[Museum is open, albeit with irl breaks for turkey and family]

Thus, the only thing he was celebrating today was his usual lunch date with his beau.
“Hello, you.”

Time spent with his beau, that is.

“Highlight of my day, personally.”

Especially after all the work Llewellyn had put into dinner yesterday.

"Morning, Steven, I know you don't celebrate Thanksgiving in England, but I wanted you to know that I'm so thankful to have you as a friend."
She smiled at him and set the pie down on the counter. "I know you and the Detective are doing a lot of baking these days, but I made you a pecan pie. A little fancier than usual, but still very tasty."

Steven looked briefly distracted at the concept of bad memories but he shook it off.
"And of course the usual visitors are always welcome. You included. It's always nice to see friends, with or without pie."

Or, no, not going there. Well, least said, soonest mended.
"Well, it's nice to have options here - whether it's a meal with a friend or broup of friends or a visit to a lovely museum," she said. "Back home it was just me and no point in making extra food or anything fancy."
