There was surprisingly no paperwork to catch up with today. Blathers must have been very on his game as far as that went. Perhaps because the long winter nights gave him more time to do it?

As such Steven focused on the displays. He went through and made notes of which ones had themes that in some way could relate to romance, be it art pieces on the topic or fish who as far as anyone could tell mated for life. It wasn't yet Valentine's Day but that didn't mean people might not be in the mood for tours on the topic.

The museum wasn't that large, though, so in quick enough order he had a list of possible subjects. He took it back to his usual spot at the Welcome Desk and tried to figure out the best route for people to go on.

He was, of course, interruptible by any visitors.

Steven scrambled for his glasses and his mobile when the notification came. He smiled when he saw the message.

And indeed, somewhat later than his usual time (but not so late that it couldn’t reasonably be called lunchtime), there was a Watts in person. “Hello, you.”

Steven smiled when he saw him. "Hello, you. Everything all right?"

“Perfectly so,” Watts said. “Perparations just took me longer than I had anticipated.”

"Well now I'm even more curious to see what you've made," Steven said. He put the sign on his desk that he was taking lunch, then came around to give Llewellyn a kiss of greeting. "Hello, you."

“Hello, you,” Watts said, depositing his hat on the desk before being pulled in to that kiss.

"Highlight of my day, with or without the food," Steven said. "Do you need help carrying anything?"

“I can manage,” Watts said, holding out his arm for Steven to take.

Steven took the offered arm gladly. "My gallant detective. Don't mind being the other thing you're keeping hold of."

Watts smiled fondly at him. “I like letting people know you’re mine,” he admitted.

Even if ‘people’ in this particular setting was really just ‘fish’.

Steven lightly bumped their shoulders together. "Don't mind anybody knowing that at all. Proud to be yours."

Yes, even in front of the fish.

Watts blushed, pleased by the statement.

“As I am to be yours.”

Nell stopped by a little later than usual because she didn't have class till after lunch today, so she was a bit late getting started. Still late for Nell was pretty early for most people. "Good morning, Steven," she said cheerfully. "How are you today?"

"Nell, good morning!" Steven said, giving her a cheery wave. "I'm doing well, thank you. How are things with you this week? Tuesday not too troubling, I hope?"

"It was actually kind of fun," Nell admitted. "I enjoyed my singing with Gladio. And you? Not too bad, I hope."

[hasaknightjob]

"No complaints on my end," Steven said, with a smile that showed he'd personally found it rather fun. 'And Gladio? He's doing all right? Settling in okay I hope?"

[mylandmyrules]

"Very well," Nell said. "Just like he's always been there. And the cats love him too."

She smiled fondly, thinking about him. "It's been lovely."

"Very important, getting the cats' approval," Steven agreed. "I know it meant a great deal when Raphael accepted me. Now he's my own as much as Llewellyn's, which is rather nice. A little family, in a way."

"That is nice," Nell said. "I'm very happy for you. It's nice to see you so happy."

"Likewise," Steven said with a smile. "How have your classes been?"

[mylandmyrules]

"I'm good at wilderness survival and less good at strategy," Nell said. "But I enjoy yhem both. Are you taking any courses this time around?"

[hasaknightjob]

"The writing class on Mondays," Steven said. "It's been... interesting? Good for ideas to practice, if nothing else. What made you decide to take Strategy?"

"It sounded interesting and Ignis was teaching it," Nell said. "And it is. It's just tricky."

"What sorts of strategies does it cover?" Steven asked.
