Fandom Island Museum, Thursday Daytime

The signage to help guide people through tours of the exhibits that in some way related to love, couples, family, or anything like it were in. Steven was rather proud of his efforts there, even if there weren't a large number of exhibits to point to.

Still, who wouldn't be charmed by some butterflies who enjoyed spending time together? Or fish that perhaps mated for life? Or art that...

Well art that referenced that certain pollen was probably not exactly the spirit of things. But to each their own!

Steven did his best to set things up before anyone came in. Afterwards, he could be found at the welcome desk, ready to give tours to those who wanted or hand out museum brochures which also guided visitors along.

He was, as always, interruptible.

"Past the halfway point at least?" Steven said. "Day's getting lighter and all? That's good, yeah?"

"It is very nice to be out and about after five and have it still be light," Nell agreed.

"Is the lack of light something that troubles you?" Steven asked.

[mylandmyrules]

Nell considered that. "Not bothers me, per se, but I do like to be able to enjoy a little time afterwork when it's still light. You?"

Steven shook his head. "No. I suppose some things are scarier when there's not as much light to see by. But I'm not bothered by dark in general. Always did like looking at the stars. Not fussed by the cold either, though I know some are."

"Living off the grid most of my life, I'm used to the dark. And the cold. And the heat in summer," Nell said with a smile. "Not much energy to waste on frivolous things. And some of my happiest times were out under the stars in Soulwood."

"Some people could be used to things but not care for them," Steven pointed out. "But it's good that it doesn't trouble you. I know some who get particularly bothered by the cold, for example. Due to their own circumstances."
