Caritas; Wednesday [02/21].
After two weeks off, Summer was actually looking forward to getting back behind the bar at Cartias again, especially since, well, next week, with the school trip, she'd be off again, and that made her almost wonder if she should take this week off, too, just to make it a good solid month. But, no, she was here, and she was glad to be here, even if Tino kept pretending like he didn't know who she was, acting like she was brand new, trying to teach her all the basics.
Excuse her while she rolled her eyes straight out of their sockets. Just because you didn't have a life and literally just came to work at this bar every single day didn't mean Summer was bound to it, too, Tino. Don't be jealous just because you didn't have cool excuses to skip out on your job all the time.

"Hello, Summer," he said, smiling and sliding on to his stool.

"Hello, Stark," she said, with a smile back, and she placed one of the Rocket Pop ones in front of him. "No Doritos jello, I kind of forgot actually? We'll just have to save it for a special occasion. But the rockets are very safe," she confirmed, and then followed it up with the stars, then the layered seafood one, and the strawberries last as if to better cloak the seafood one even more. "And the cocktail is really cool, too, so you'll have one of those, too, right?"

"Maybe," she mused, "something to bring on the school trip. Though if we're going to space, I'm really hoping to be able to get my hands on some cool space booze to use, instead of the usual shit."

"Mostly," she said, "depending on your definition of 'cool' and who you're asking, probably. Definitely don't bring guns, they won't do you much good in here anyway unless you like getting unceremoniously dumped into a pond in the middle of February, pretty sure they're beyond medicine doing much good, and the sutures don't tend to stay, so we just go through a lot of duct tape around here."
And, with all that covered, she met the other woman with a pleased smile. "And now it's my turn: Hi, I'm Summer, what can I get you to drink?"

"Hi! I'm Harley." Like that. And pressing both hands against the edge of the counter so she could really lean towards the specials list. "And, ooh. What is a moontini? Because it sounds amazing."

"It is amazing," Summer confirmed. "It's basically a nice bourbon martini but with a fancy fruit ice ball right in the middle of it. I'll get one started for you? Also, you're new, right? That means a free jello shot if you want, too. I also do free ones for karaoke songs."
See? Much more important info than the whole pond thing, which was more fun as a surprise, anyway!
