Tino was giving Jane exaggerated shocked and confused looks about her coming into the bar to set up for the evening. Because he was Tino and not at all for any other reason. Really

"Okay, okay. So maybe I've been busy," she sighed, hauling one of the kegs that he'd been ignoring down to where it needed to go.


Sometimes it just went that way.

"Nexus between dimensions with a lot of different people here," Dean said straining to remember from some of the drinks he just had. "Honestly I probably should have asked questions or for a handbook."

"They should really give one to people when they show up, too," she said. "It also saves you from having the same conversation about how weird the place is multiple times."

"Huh. I don't suppose there's any kind of history about this place, is there?" Dean asked. Not even sure why he did. That's usually a Sam thing.

"Not that I know of. Unless you want to see what's left of my work in the warehouse district. I immortalized the big stuff."

She knew they'd done stuff in the warehouse district. She hadn't been there since she'd come back here.

"What work is that?" Dean asked. "And this island has warehouses?"

He clearly missed that part of town during his walk about.

"Down Serendipity Lane," she said. "I painted some of the buildings after invasions."

"Invasions."

Now that was a island topic he hadn't heard yet.

"Huh. I'll check those buildings out next time I get a chance. I didn't take art history or anything so don't expect any great critiques on my part."
