Caritas; Wednesday [12/11].
Summer pretty much knew what to expect today when she came into the bar. She had, after all, spent whatever time she wasn't using to make jello shots for tonight or do some online holiday shopping trying to prevent her cat for torturing the small balls of sugar rolling around and making disturbingly cute little sounds at her every chance they got.
It had been an ongoing battle, and she was sure she was going to return to a sentient-sugarball massacre in her apartment when she got home tonight, but, right now, she was just watching the balls rolling around the bar and having a grand old time, giggling and leaving trails of sugar everywhere.
"I hope you know," she stated, plainly and clearly, as she looked at Tino a moment before finally breaking out of her distraction to get to work, "that I'm not cleaning any of that up tonight."
She started cleaning a glass and then paused.
"Wait," she realized, "if they're going to just disappear tomorrow, does that mean the mess they leave behind will, too?"
That would make things so much easier, but she still kind of hoped that at least Tino still had to clean something up.
It was good for him! It built character!

Re: The Bar - 12/11.
"Hi," he said with a grin before he leaned across the bar for the usual kiss.
"Going okay?"
No ball related problems?
Re: The Bar - 12/11.
"Not yet," Summer answered back with a grin as she settled back from that kiss and immediately began to set down some shots for Stark....once the sugar ball rolled by with a giggling sound, anyway. "But that would make things go a little more interestingly. How about you? Sugar balls making you regret your sweet tooth yet?"
Re: The Bar - 12/11.
"I wonder if it might make things worse to be high," Stark mused. "What if the balls started talking? And I'm just trying to avoid the balls. I haven't eaten any!"
He couldn't. Not when they were making noises like that.
Re: The Bar - 12/11.
"I fully expect to return home to an all-put sugar ball massacre," she admitted. "But maybe I'll luck out and Pancakes will be over it by now. Or too lazy to really put in the effort."

Re: The Bar - 12/11.
"Hello, Summer," Percy said cheerfully as he took a seat at the bar. "A glass of wine, please... and the chance to thank you again for your gift from last week."
He held up the phone she’d given him, a small smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "This ‘internet’ thing is utterly fascinating, though I must say it seems to be full of rude people and spelling errors."
Re: The Bar - 12/11.
"But you're welcome. Glad it's working out for you. And what kind of wine?" she then asked. "What are we feeling tonight?"
Re: The Bar - 12/11.
Here’s a polished version of your passage:
"I'm afraid I don't know much about the wines of this world—or others," Percy admitted, a touch of disappointment in his tone.
"Generally, I prefer the reds from Kamordah. The volcanic soil there lends them a rich, earthy quality that's hard to replicate. So, I shall have to rely on you as my sommelier. Guide me to a solid red, if you would. And then," he added with a small flourish, "I insist you pour yourself a glass as well. Both as a thank you and to help celebrate my new venture on this island."
Of course, Percy knew next to nothing about this world’s wines. But he'd researched just enough to find the word "sommelier" and it delighted him to use it.
Re: The Bar - 12/11.
Thankfully, Summer had too much respect for herself to actually make that joke, and she had decided, as Percy answered, to pretty much go through the list of wines she knew Ignis had approved of, until he mentioned pouring herself one, and her nose wrinkled, because they meant finding one that both she and Ignis agreed on.
Because what? Like she was going to just say no to someone buying her a drink? Come on. Be serious.
But then her eyes landed on one that elicited an "ah-ha!" out of her as she pulled out a bottle to show him. "Perfect," she decided, based on the volcano alone, and she started to open it and pour, "right? I'm more partial to sangria myself," she set down Percy's glass for him and started on her own, "but I do like to try new stuff, too.
"Tell me about this new venture."

"Evening darlings," she called as she sauntered into the bar, unfastening her fur mantle. "So is this what is meant by sugar plum fairies?"

"Ohmygod," she said, sounding deeply offended, "is that what those are supposed to be??"
If so, she had notes. Where were the wings? Where was the plum? But it did....sort of make sense anyway, didn't it?
