The Perk, Thursday Evening

Was meeting up with a group for an evening coffee the best idea in the world this week? Absolutely not, but since when had it been said that Lydia Bennet had only good ideas? She had announced this on the radio, after all, and she couldn't go back on that! She was sure it would be fine! A lovely evening would be had by all.

No, not like that. A very lovely evening drinking coffee, or tea for those of them with the sense to recognize that coffee tasted awful.

She was already uncertain what to do about the fact that the barista had given her her phone number, but welcome to Supper Club, everyone!

This week was an exercise in shielding, and in giving Rey a headache. She was really trying to tamp down on the crankiness though. Hanging out with friends was probably needed anyway now, even if they were hot friends.

Even if she might not move from her spot on the sofa, where it was safe.

"Miss Skywalker! Welcome! Do you prefer tea or coffee?" There was a right answer here, but Lydia would strive not to hold it against her if she didn't give it.

Percy had given up on using the mask today but saw no harm in going out for something as harmless as coffee. After all it was just coffee and people he had met before. What could go wrong?

It went wrong with his coffee order when he got flustered by the barista and ended up with a chocolate covered strawberry creme blended frozen beverage.

Percy glanced up, curious about the commotion. His eyes widened in surprise when he saw Logan, shirtless. So startled, he squeezed his drink a bit too tightly, sending a wave of chocolate-covered strawberry crème slush spurting out of the straw and onto the floor. "Well, that’s one way to make an entrance," he muttered, wiping his hands with a faint, bemused frown.

Lydia was quite glad, for the first time, that cups were made out of paper now, as it meant that it didn't make quite so much of a mess when she dropped hers upon catching sight of Logan.

For some reason, Adrian had had the utter hubris to assume that being a Witch of the Flesh would make this pollen stuff easier to deal with.

He was wrong. He was very, very wrong. He was going to order himself a nice soothing herbal tea, because the last thing he wanted was to be on edge and caffeinated.

Ignore how the others in the club disagreed. Rey just didn't know how to enjoy the show. Clearly. Maybe it was the lack of Madonna music in the background...

But Adrian got vague nod of greeting. Which was more surly than normal because, well, this week.

Had Belle ever been to Supper Club before? No she had not. But it was open and she was feeling rather thirsty eager for company thirsty so a beverage seemed like a fine choice this evening!

If there happened to be beautiful people to look at there, well, all the better! She'd been alone with books far too often this week. Socialization was important.
