Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

Rey had gotten back on Wednesday, hadn't come down to the warehouse yesterday, and today when she got there, everything was caked in a thick layer of dust. She was blaming Fandom for it, and it was very unfair when she hadn't been gone that long. In fact, she'd been gone longer before. A week and a half was nothing.

She was going to do some cleaning before she got to anything else today.

"Rey?" Anakin began before getting a nose full of dust and sneezing dramatically.

"Yeah, that's happening a lot in here," she said with a sigh, standing with the stupid broom.

'What happened?" he asked, sneezing again.

[thatwaslucky]

"Everything's dusty. I think the island is trying to tell me the exact opposite of what everyone else is," she said. "I already had to get most of the obstacle course."

Anakin wrinkled his nose. "That sounds terrible."

[thatwaslucky]

"I have to do the entire other side," she said, looking back towards it. "The Force does not cleanly take care of it."

"You can't manipulate the dust particles?" Anakin asked.

[thatwaslucky]

"I can but then they still have to go somewhere, namely creating more or a mess down here," she said. "At least doing it this way I can manage it."

She paused.

"Also I'm annoyed and it gives me something to complain about."

At least she was honest.

"In that case, sweep and complain away," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"Thank you," she said, starting to sweep more of it into a pile. "And how are you?"

It'd been a couple weeks!

"I'm good," Anakin said. "Rory's angry I got paid to go to Barbados."

[thatwaslucky]

"You were chaperoning," Rey said helpfully. "By the way, I brought back snacks for you to bring home."

[sith_happened]

"You did?" Anakin asked, looking surprised. "That was very nice of you!"

[thatwaslucky]

"It never occurred to me that you could just buy that in other places," she said.

[sith_happened]

"Me either," Anakin admitted. "What did you find?"

[thatwaslucky]

"Chips and candy bars," she said. "There might also be a few in the snack locker."

This was what happened when you were a light packer. This was what came back in your suitcase.

Now Anakin was heading for the snack locker. "I could go for a candy bar."

"That's why they're there," she said. "Did you like Barbados? Even before snacks?"

"It was warm," Anakin said with a bright smile, rummaging through the snacks and coming out with a chocolate bar.

[thatwaslucky]

"There was a lot of sand," she teased.

[sith_happened]

"I stayed at the pool," Anakin said. "And went to some of the rum tastings."

[thatwaslucky]

"It sounds like you did the relaxation thing right," she said.

[sith_happened]

"It was a vacation, so I've learned to take advantage of it," Anakin said. "Finally."

[thatwaslucky]

"Took you a while, did it?" she asked.

[sith_happened]

"Years," Anakin admitted.
