Groovy Tunes; Thursday [04/03].
It was the first Thursday of the month, and once Stewart had gotten through all the usual business of keeping the shop running, an activity that he was actually finding the he somewhat enjoyed, he turned his attention to getting things set up for the monthly Open Mic night, and a part of him was wondering why he still even bothered with it. After all, it seemed like it was just the same three people who showed up every month, and while that was still three people, and there have been occasionally others coming to check it out or even perform, it all seemed a bit like he was trying to keep alive a dead horse through the power of his electro-dance remixes and Charlie's more folksy bent alone. Why did he bother? What was even the point?
But it was still something, right? And he did feel like he would regret it, if he'd called it off and stopped, and you never knew, and at least performing for a small (miniscule, microscopic) crowd was better than not performing at all...
So he was setting up the lights and testing the sound equipment and getting a nice loop of Armour Plastique playing in the background, something that still had a bop but was a little softer to reflect his more...erm, reflective mood, he guessed.
Groovy Tunes is open!
