Fandom Island Museum, Thursday Daytime

Plans for organizing things in the employee areas had turned into orders of various organizational supplies. Which had, in turn, turned into a jungle of cardboard boxes in the lobby when Steven arrived for work.

Steven set about opening the boxes, inventorying what was inside, and carrying things to the back as needed.

It was possible he was going to wait on the heavier items and see if he could convince Marc to move them before Steven left for home that evening. (It was also possible that Marc was going to laugh when he heard it.)

Regardless, Steven was still out in the lobby more often than not, so he was there for visitors. They just needed to mind their step was all.

"Is that what you would like?" Watts asked. Yes, he knew full well that was what Steven meant.

"I'm in the mood for it now," Steven said. "Chocolate cake."

"Then it is chocolate cake you shall have," Watts said firmly.

"Thank you, love," Steven said. With a look which suggested he would be thanking Llewellyn in more detail after having had said cake that night.

"You're very welcome," Watts replied, with playful grin in response to that look.

"Looking forward to coming home even more now," Steven said. His grin was about the cake and after. It was fun to have cake for no reason after all.

"Looking forward to your arrival home," Watts admitted, reaching out to brush something off Steven's shoulder.

[hasaknightjob]

"I imagine the house will smell wonderful," Steven said.

"If it doesn't, I'm clearly doing something wrong," Watts replied.

[hasaknightjob]

Steven chuckled. "Whatever you do, I know it will be amazing."

He sealed that confidence with a kiss.
