Or, you know, rush past the store quickly to get away from the noise

After his classes, Stewart had some errands to run, but before he got to those, he had to come up from the basement for a moment for a better listen to what was pumping in the store.

"Charlie," he greeted her with a nod. "Your music choice for the day is....commendable. Keep up the good work."

Aww. Look at him. Being a supportive boss.

"Assuming, of course," he added, "that the selection was indeed your own and not merely the fickle whim of our seemingly sentient speaker equipment."

"Oh no, it was mine," Charlie said cheerfully. "To go along with the class on Norse life. Awesome, isn't it?"

Was her her boss? Well, technically, sure, but Charlie didn't get hung up much on technicalities.

Stewart was, also, arguably the least boss to ever boss before.

"You're well aware of where my own musical proclivities tend to lean," he said, because a simple 'yes' clearly would have been too simple. "And it is a suitably inspired choice. Axe throwing might be worthy of more intentional pursuits."

Just what everyone needed. Skids throwing weapons.

Charlie might just be the worst employee to ever employee. Well, no. At least she showed up. Most of the time. And played music.

"I was pretty dreadful at the whole axe throwing thing, but I was mostly thinking about the music that ought to be playing. And, you know, some of the teachers get annoyed when I charm things into working."

"Some of the teachers," Stewart echoed with a wry snort, "seem to get annoyed at just waking up in the morning."

No judgement, though, even if it sounded that way. Stewart also was annoyed at just waking up any time before eleven.

"Not Thor, though," he allowed. "He seems cool."

He was a Norse god, of course he was cool.

"Totally awesome," Charlie agreed. "I wish we could get him to make some lightning bolts happen. That would be amazing to see!"

Stewart thought about that and what kind of situation might call for something like that, and then his errands got more involved as he thought of something to try for Open Mic Night later this week. So he just sort of squinted at nothing as he brain tried to figure out some logistics, and then he seemed to remember he was having a conversation with another person.

"Have you tried just asking him?"

If Thor had said anything in previous classes about it Stewart honestly couldn't remember.

No. No, she hadn't. But you know, she could punt.

"Now where would the fun in that be?" she asked. "It would be more fun if he just... did it."
