Fandom Beach, Saturday mid-morning
If you'd been on the beach this morning, you might've thought that the man dressed in linen and wearing a Tahitian black pearl on a cord around his neck sitting quietly in the sand as he dried off had arrived right from the ocean.
But that would be extremely extra, wouldn't it? And Poseidon, god of the sea, was never anything but low key. Ignore hurricanes. And floods. And tsunamis.
He sat there, letting the wind blow his hair around, and stared out at the water. If the waves were bigger than they should be for a beach in Maryland, well, sometimes that happened.
[OOC: So open.]

Needless to say, upon realizing that he might finally be able to go a rambling and a wandering far from the tiles he called home, he took a trepedatious and excited step forward into the great wide world!
And, well, being a shower and all, it was no surprise he found himself drawn to the water.
"Would you get a load of that!" he proclaimed in awe, leaning into his showerhead microphone. "Oh, wow! I reckon I ain't ever imagined so much water before in the world! And I'm a shower, so you better believe, that's saying a lot!"
There was a gutteral sort of 'uh-huh!' sound, accompanied with a little twist and shake of his hips, and he went back to marveling for a moment, before having to decide where to mosey on along to next.

"Because, you know, that is something I like to do. Singin'."
If, you know, thr shower head mic wasn't enough to clue anyone in.

Still hadn't quite clued in to what sort of weekend this was but Stark was beginning to have his suspicions.
"Hello?"

And, if one was capable of seeing ghosts, they might notice the spirit of a rather amused-looking, very large blond man in armor trailing behind said duck, asking anxiously, Are you related to Howard? Good sir, I beg you answer me.
Unfortunately, Donald Duck did not have the same connection to Thor as Donald Blake, and was not in the habit of seeing spirits, so he remained oblivious to Thor's pleas.

Ohmygod, Johnny, you couldn't just assume all ducks knew each other!
But, in his defense, this was his first time out of the bathroom.

Assuming Poseidon could understand a word he said.

Donald was from Orlando, himself.

"You're new," he said. It was almost a question. He would have noticed a large, talking duck on the island before.

"I'm Stark," Stark said slowly. "Hello?"

Even if that something was stopping on the beach to watch some waves that may or may not have been bigger than normal. He was hardly an expert on waves.
He nodded to the man who looked vaguely familiar (they'd seen each other before, at least, he was pretty sure, and he hadn't yet realized it was one of Those Weekends).
"Morning," he said quietly. He didn't want to disturb anyone.

Also those waves did not look pleasant for swimming in.

He'd wade, maybe. But not right now.
"But it's good to watch. Soothing, sometimes."

Remember that, other gods.

Probably a number of people on this island might try to fight the sea itself, actually. It was that kind of place.

It was the sort of thing that he might end up involved in accidentally though.

He'd had enough of wars and fighting to last several lifetimes.
"But I don't avoid it when it's necessary."

"But if I can help I try to. I don't always succeed. But I try. Even when it's dangerous."
