Did Padme know that she needed to go to work at a bar? No. No, she did not. But she did need a drink as she figured out how best to address her current situation and that somehow ended up being said bar.

And then the bartender there had taken one look at her and her over the top outfit and disappeared for five minutes before returning in a matching outfit.

How long had Tino had that just waiting? Why had Tino had that waiting? These were questions to ponder and never learn the true answers to because, well, Tino.

"Oh, definitely not," Anakin agreed. "How strong of a drink am I buying you?"

"One very strong one because I'm solo parenting while having to do empress stuff, I guess."

The solo parenting- tee hee- wasn't anything new, considering how often one or the other of them was away for work, but she was annoyed.

"I don't suppose you can tell them to hold off on empress-ing until Jag is no long a mode of transport," Anakin said.

"Yeah, that's not going to go well," she said. "I can get away with 'indisposed' to one person and that's pushing it."

Anakin nodded. "Tire tracks won't count as signatures," he said. "Can you forge his?"

"Unfortunately with current circumstances it all calls and meetings and decisions about things he knows better," she said. "I probably won't start any wars."

"Always a good goal," Anakin teased.

"Yeah," she said. "So, Real Grandma."

"I also need a strong drink," Anakin said.

"We will buy each other strong drinks," she nodded.
