Caritas- Saturday night after 8:15 pm

The dates were over, the glitter was still there, the glitter lived with you now, and the night was still young. So maybe people wanted to hang at the bar for a little while. Maybe you wanted to take the date further, or maybe you just wanted to gossip or catch up with people you weren't matched with!

Either way the specials still told a story.

She and Ignis hadn't gotten paired up for a round, but that was fine, they'd had a plan for that, too. For now, she was ordering herself another drink - a French Kiss, this time - and leaning against the bar to enjoy watching the aftermath of the dates.

There had been a plan, indeed, and, in fact, the part of Ignis that had earlier felt as though he almost wished they hadn't been paired so that they could enact was feeling quite smug and satisfied by the time the fifth round came along with not even a whisper of their names together.

It was easy for him to find the spot at the bar where Liliana had settled; he could find her easily anywhere, really, and not even simply by her all-too-familiar scent, but just by her sheer presence, a force that he could swear he felt all the way down into his bones. And so there he was, slipping into the spot to her side and leaning against the bar as if it were merely the only spot in which he could squeeze to place his own post-dates order.

"Tino," he said, taking a moment to slip off his glasses and tuck them into the pocket inside his jacket, "if you could be so kind, another of those Love Potions. I daresay, the wise person who suggested it to me earlier was quite on the mark."

Liliana turned, giving him an appreciative once over, especially as he tucked his glasses away. "That must be quite the delicious drink," she purred. "I can't imagine a handsome gentleman like yourself would needing to resort to a love potion for any other reason." She offered him a smile. "Well hello there."

And Ignis was fielding that smile right back to Liliana as he turned, a distinct tilt to it that seemed to match the way he leaned his lithe body against it and angled it her way. "It is a rather complex with an interesting flavor profile," he explained, with words that would no doubt sound rather familiar to her, "with uncommon ingredients, what's not to love? About the drink, anyway, as I'm starting to feel like I might be realizing that I have been drastically undercut on the quality of my matches this evening..."

No offense to those he did have dates with, of course. You were all lovely. But, really, now...

Clearly, that wise person who'd suggested it to him had been an individual with exquisite taste.

"Hmm, with that kind of ringing endorsement, I might just have to try it myself," she said, leaning close enough to just baaaaarely brush against him when she moved. "And here I just asked for a French Kiss to tide me over for the evening."

Speaking of she was going to take a sip of it right then, as if he wasn't already firmly aware of her mouth.

"And that's a shame. Did you have no one who truly caught your attention?"

After her dates, Arden figured she'd get at least one more soda before heading home. Although, a bunch of people were already there and karaoke was an option, right? Hmmm.

"Arden," Erasmus said, relieved, when he saw her by the bar. "Hi. I'm gonna need to leave in a minute," to go let his head explode in peace, "but I just wanted to check something. Is there a guy made of felt?"

"Oh! Beaker, yeah," Arden said. "He used to be a teacher here but then he left with the crazy vampire doctor. He likes lighting fires which seems really not wise, considering."

On the one hand, yes, because it meant that he hadn't just hallucinated that whole thing and then possibly also his conversation with Stark. On the other hand...

"He was a teacher?" Erasmus asked. "But...he only says meep?" A lot. So many meeps.

"I have no idea," Arden said. "I know there was one that was trying to break into Professor Stark's tower...?" She shook her head. "I never took any of his classes." Or if she had, she'd blocked them out.

"Jedi and Sith working together. How's that working out?" Jaina asked. "I've done it and it was... tense, at best."

"Surprisingly well," Lana said. "I won't say we've had no issues, but it helps that everybody currently there wants to be there. The ones who were more inclined toward war on either side have left. The leader of our Force enclave, Sana-Rae, is Voss, and their approach toward the Force is more neutral than anything."

She smiled wryly. "Also our Commander is a Sith warrior who even the Jedi can't deny is a decidedly good person. Shortly after the Alliance was established, he was taught a combined approach to the Force by the ghost of a Dark Council member and the Jedi Grandmaster. Most of us have been trying to decide what that means and how to follow it. We're making it up as we go along."

Since they'd been so rudely interrupted by the bell, Rey and Adrian headed to the bar to continue the chat.

"Want a drink?" she asked.

Not a cry for help, Kitty, honest!

"Ah, it was a signal," Adrian said with a laugh. "If I asked for a vodka spritzer in a bowl, it would mean that my date was going horribly and I was hoping that drinking out of a bowl would get me out faster."

None of Stark's dates had been a rousing success. They'd all been fine.
