Lorne is dressed once again in his sequined cowboy outfit and cowboy hat.

"Yee-Haw Partners! It's C&W night at Rancho Caritas! Come on down and sing about losing your lover, truck and dog to twangy music! Wahoo!"

"I'm pretty good, a little tired, but nothing exciting. Are you okay? Parker mentioned ethics yesterday was, um, a lot insensitive."

Marty rolls his eyes at the mention of ethics class. "I can't believe she had the nerve to bring up the topic the way she did."

"It was..." Rory arched her brows. "It was pretty crappy, actually. I suggest you skip class on Monday."

"I should. Or maybe I'll just see if she's doing the same topic again, and then walk out if she does." She shakes her head. "Is it true she was actually humming as she started class?"

A look of disgust washes over Marty's face. "That's disgusting! How... Gah! That's awful."

"It's what I heard," Angela shrugs.

"You were smart not to sign up for the class, you know that? I just thought it would be more interesting and fun than Professor Amidala's class."

"Yes, she was humming," Rory answers. "And smiling. And laughing. And happy."

Marty shook his head. "That's just.... Wrong."

"I know," Angela says, pale. "I interviewed Professor Tick this morning for the newspaper? And he was talking about how, like, there are different ways of looking at justice and right and wrong, and he hopes his class helps people build consensus and make smart decisions? It seems like Tara does almost the opposite. I almost don't care that she helped us soul Angelus."

A small grin crosses Marty's face. "Not sure how talking about Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny is supposed to accomplish that, but I do like the Tick's style."

"I've heard that's an interesting class," Logan said.

"It is. It's fun to grade," Rory chimed in. "And I had fun teaching it, that one time."

"You guys talk about cartoons in class?" Angela asks, grinning. "That's so awesome. I can't believe you never told me." She kicks Marty gently under the table.

"I hope I can take a class with him someday."

She waves to Logan. "Hey."

Marty nods a greeting to Logan as well.

"You should really take a class with him. He's great. The TA's pretty cool as well."

"So I've heard," Logan grinned and kissed Rory lightly. "Could be fun. I haven't decided what I'm taking next semester."

"You should take it!" Rory grinned. "And like Marty said, you kind of have an in with the TA. Shouldn't be any trouble to make sure you're in ACJ."

Angela grins. "I might try that."

[OOC: Talked to Tick, he thinks the class is too full already. I can wait until summer semester or next fall. *sads*]

"I'll probably keep journalism. Everything else? No clue. I want to see what comes up." She sips on her drink. "PLus, from what Jerusalem said in class Thursday, I think we're on a trimester system. So we have to think about the summer, too."

She shoots Logan a curious look. "Did they tell you when you were going to graduate yet?"

"Yeah... And should the Senior class be doing some sort of traditional prank on the school? That was pretty big back in my old school."

"What, you want to give the enemy ideas?" Angela teases. "He'll have us all .... hopping backwards all day, or calling them sir and ma'am, or both."

"Oh, good idea!" Logan grinned at them. "May 1 is my release date."

"Well where I'm from the prank was usually against the staff. Then again considering our Dean can kill people with flatware, you might want to rethink that."

Rory looked sad, but didn't comment.

Angela scootched over and put a hand on Rory's arm. "Hey, we only have a year to go, and..." Her voice trails off. "It'll be fine," she finishes, not really sure what she can say.

Rory shrugged. "So, anyway," she said, smiling, "Who's singing tonight?" She looked at Marty and Angela. "Either of you?"
