Weevil had returned to Fandom a few days ago. It's definitely good to be back after spending a week in Neptune. And he's glad to see the zombie band back as well. He notices Tino seemed to be missing, though. He just shakes his head in amusement.

Caritas is open.

Cally nodded. "There's the thing, you know? I have no idea what I want anymore."

Nadia nodded slowly. "That would do it." She leaned against the bar. "I think what you need is a roof-top-brownie ritual."

"I like brownies," Cally said. "And the roof. So... sounds good to me."

"Great! It worked for Veronica, Walter, and Blair. I'm sure it'll work for you, too."

"Wow," Cally said. "That's a pretty long record of good standing success."

"I think the secret is the special brownies and the anti-emo rule."

"What makes the brownies so special?" Cally asked. "Are they, like, magical brownies?"

"You could say that. . . . They're hash brownies."

Cally blinked. "So they've got potato in them?"

"Um, nooo. . . . Pot brownies?"

"Ohhhhhh," Cally said. "Now I get it. Neat." She totally didn't actually get it. But she decided to pretend she did.

"They're fun. The ones my boss' friend makes are really good."

"Well, good. Cause I like brownies. And even though I totally shouldn't indulge in the comfort eating thing, I'm really thinking that's a good idea," Cally said. "Thanks."

"No problem. It's what I do."

Cally nodded. "So, what do you do when you're not saving the world from moody breakups?" She laughed a little. "Cause that could get kind of tiresome, I think."

"Well, fortunately, they don't happen too often. But I'm the mascot for the basketball team, and other than that, I just kind of . . . hang around."

Cally didn't even make the emo link between basketball and Anders, thanks to the power of drunkeness. "Me too," Cally said. "Doing important things is so overrated."

"It is. Sometimes you just want to spend the day buried underneath a pile of kittens. Or practicing guitar."

"Ooooh, kittens," Cally said, grinning. "I like kittens."

"Me too. I have a cat, actually. But he's kind of goofy."

"I like pets," Cally said. "But most of the time, tools and pets don't mix, so I really shouldn't keep them. Cause nothing will make you sadder than accidently geting a hamster caught in the gearshaft."

Nadia stared at Cally. "Ohhh, poor hamster!"

"It got out again. But it was short a toe, so my mom gave it to the family down the street," Cally said. "And that was the end of me having pets back home."

"Maybe you could have a fish instead? Or something big enough that it couldn't get caught?"

Cally thought about Brandly for a second. "No, fish aren't as pettable," she said. "Unless you're weird."
