Caritas - Open [6/27]

Veronica was still running on nerves and caffeine when she got to work. She was grateful to see Tino was back from wherever he'd been, though he snorted at her when she asked if he'd had a nice vacation.

Aaron hadn't appeared to her again since Anakin chased him off. She was hoping that was a good sign, even though Piper hadn't been able to help her.

Alec turned, catching the new guy's glance down the bar and back. "Yep, it is; I've got much better hair than Dean." He grinned. "I'm Alec."

"I'm Tim. One of the few with no double here, and as far as I know, the only one named tim on this island. Although apparently there's a guy named Pete who looks just like me wherever Artie's from."

Alec nodded. "Huh. Well, having a double's not the end all and be all. I'm sure you'll survive."

"Oh I wasn't complaining." Tim grinned. "I kinda like it, it sets me apart from the others, makes me unique."
