Caritas - Open [6/27]

Veronica was still running on nerves and caffeine when she got to work. She was grateful to see Tino was back from wherever he'd been, though he snorted at her when she asked if he'd had a nice vacation.

Aaron hadn't appeared to her again since Anakin chased him off. She was hoping that was a good sign, even though Piper hadn't been able to help her.

It was completely hypocritical of him, but Anders got pretty damn upset at that. He stood up, grabbed Conner by the wrist, and, still dragging the other guy along with him, stormed out of the bar (http://futurebucs-star.livejournal.com/47240.html).

Piper blinked at Cally, totally not expecting that. "You're a pretty good kisser."

Just because she did it for all the wrong reasons was no reason she couldn't have enjoyed herself.
