Veronica was still running on nerves and caffeine when she got to work. She was grateful to see Tino was back from wherever he'd been, though he snorted at her when she asked if he'd had a nice vacation.

Aaron hadn't appeared to her again since Anakin chased him off. She was hoping that was a good sign, even though Piper hadn't been able to help her.

"I don't know," Veronica replied. "But it's Fandom, so there has to be a reason. And there has to be someone who can help figure out why and how to fix it. Archie's going to mention it on radio tonight."

"Me either," Veronica said softly, wondering if Aaron was still nearby, but afraid to look.

"I wonder if it would hurt him if I threw it at him," Bel mused.

"I doubt it," Veronica replied. "If they can't hurt us, we probably can't hurt them. Piper found a spell in the book to vanquish a ghost, but it only works if it's said by another ghost. I'm wondering if Angel would count since he's dead."

"Can't hurt to try," Bel said. "Think he'll come here to do it?" No, that wasn't a note of hope in his voice.

"I don't know," Veronica replied, her tone matching Bel's. "I'll probably call him tomorrow."

Bel nodded. "Let me know how that goes," he said.

He paused for a moment. "There are ways to imprison spirits. I can sneak back home and see if I can find a spell to do it."
