The Perk - Sunday Morning

Chris was only slightly wary of this whole 'family breakfast' thing. He knew it was a bad plan for Grams and Grandpa to be in the same place. And Mom was bringing Lindsey and would expect him and Wyatt to be nice. And Aunt Phoebe was bringing both of her boyfriends, which he could only imagine Grams and Grandpa would not be pleased about.

Hopefully the Perk would still be standing after this morning... which, given Fandom's track record lately... was probably even odds.

Tori spotted Wyatt and Chris as she was grabbing her beverage. "Hey." She smiled at them and waved slightly.

Victor was there, still a bit stunned by yesterday's events -- though it was a toss up if he was more disturbed by the aliens thing or the grandsons from the future thing.

Either way, he was happy to be able to spend some time with his girls.

Looking a little tired, but jubilant, Phoebe did indeed arrive at the Perk as promised. She beamed at her nephews. "I did it! I got the damned diploma."

Grams arrived and immediately gave Victor a dirty look, but she had nothing but hugs for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

This whole meeting relatives who had been dead since he was a baby (or before) was still a little strange to Chris, but he was happy to hug his Grams.

At some point during the breakfast, Wyatt wanted to get something more to drink. But that would mean getting up and crossing the line of fire between Grams and Phoebe and her harem, which he really wanted to avoided. But he was really thirsty.

And without meaning to, he accidentally orbed to the other side of the Perk. Oops.
