The Park [early evening]

Siegfried, Roy and their white tiger were in the park, prepared to put on a Very Important Show.

Well, if the tiger wouldn't keep running off. And...beeping. What the hell was that about anyway?

Ah, gremlin bites. Luke and Gavin were going to unhappy tomorrow, but for now...

Siegfried turned to Roy. "Are ve ready?"

Artoo, who was not a tiger, made another run for it.

"I do not understand das vater, either," Siegfried, said, wrinkling his nose up at the pond. "It is bad for das sequins."

"Is not like zee fountains vhere ve are from," Roy agreed. "Is also bad for my hair. Hairdresser! Hairdresser!"

Siegfried was totally sulking now. "This had better be worth it, ja."

"Cheer up, Siggy!" Gavin was going to kill things tomorrow. "Ve have glitter!"

And he dumped glitter on Luke's head.

Siegfried smiled. "Und each other. It is not so bad after all."

Artoo? Totally taping this.

"Ve vill persevere," Roy agreed. "And ve vill grow stronger together! Forever!"

Siegfried clasped his hands together. "Wunderbar! Now ver ist the elephant?"

Roy pointed to Artoo. "Zee tiger can fill in, ja?"

"Ja, I suppose, but it vill not be as impressive."

"Vell, no." Roy looked thoughtful. "Ve could...glitter zee tiger and make him shiny!"

"I love how your mind vorks," Siegfried said, smiling. "Come, tiger! Ve vill make you shiny!"

Artoo backed away, hooting in dismay.

Roy waved at Artoo, trying to look comforting. Of course, he just looked insane.

"Ve vill shower joo in blue and silver and make pretty! Not as pretty as Siegfried, of course."

Roy batted his eyelashes at Siegfried.

Siegfied batted his eyelashes right back. "No one looks as good in das tiny leather pants than you, my heart."

Artoo wailed.

"Joo das flatter me," Roy said, looking abashed and happy. "I shall rename zee tiger after my my heart!"

Roy pointed at Artoo. "Joo shall be known as Sigfriend Van Den Vunderbar!"

Artoo was thrilled. Really.

He demonstrated that by trying to flee the park again.

"Tiger! Stop! Cease! Halt!" Roy ran after him, kicking his legs high.

Artoo rolled to a halt with a tiny droid sigh.
