The Park [early evening]

Siegfried, Roy and their white tiger were in the park, prepared to put on a Very Important Show.

Well, if the tiger wouldn't keep running off. And...beeping. What the hell was that about anyway?

Ah, gremlin bites. Luke and Gavin were going to unhappy tomorrow, but for now...

Siegfried turned to Roy. "Are ve ready?"

Artoo, who was not a tiger, made another run for it.

"Ve are," he said with a jaunty wave of his hand. "Vhere is our audience?"

"I do not know," he replied, plucking at the sleeve of his terrifying costume.

Or, you know, what Luke normally wore if you dumped glitter all over it. Which was what had happened. "Ve don't have the date wrong?"

Roy scratched at his mullet lovely flowing brown hair.

"Ve can't!" He stomped a foot. "Ve are too smart for that."

GOB, driving through the park on his Segway, had a headache. He didn't remember last night - at least, that was his story - so he had no clue why he had a headache.

The only thing that would make it worse would be to run into a couple of kids who thought they were illusionists. Well, look at what we have here.

"Sir! Sir!" Roy tried to flag GOB down. "Vill you come vatch our show? It's free! Open to zee public!"

Molly was walking by the park when she heard Artoo's whistles of protestation. A little concerned, she went to check it out.

When she saw Luke and Gavin, she stopped cold and blinked. "Uhhh, what are you guys up too?"

Artoo went shrieking towards her and tried to hide behind her legs.

Luke was right behind. "Bad tiger!" he scolded in a terrible German accent.

Johnny was taking a walk in the park, amazingly by himself. After the long day of detention, he was ready to just chill out and catch a bit of alone time. Nothing better or more scenic than a walk in the park.

But then he spotted Gavin and another guy he hadn't thought he'd met yet. "Hey, what's up?

"Vhat is up vit joo?" Roy asked, dancing around Johnny lightly. "Vill you stay for our show? Vee vill do magic and many many illusions!"

Isabel had run some errands into town when she spotted all that glitter and some familiar faces in the park.

"The hell?"

"Velcome to the vunderful vorld of Siegfriend and Roy!" Roy bounced over to Isabel, hands waving wildly in the air. "I am Roy. Ja."

Jaina had been going to find the store to pick up a few things, but when she saw what was happening in the park, she literally stopped in her tracks to stare.

"Hellooooooo!" Siegfried trilled, throwing his hands up into the air. "You must be here for ze show, ja?"

This was Kou's first run-in with gremlin bites. He was on his way back to the cabin, and had to stop. And stare. "...What the hell?"

Roy pranced over to Squall and danced in front of him. "Ve have magic and we have zee tiger! Come join us for vunderful show!"

Naminé sat near the ... uh, stage, giggling a little to herself. And sketching. She wasn't sure what was going on, but this was certainly something she wanted to see.

And seeing attention on them, Siegfried and Roy, thinking they had glowsticks in their hands, did a very wriggly dance in front of her.

"Ve are making zee magic!" Roy said. Siegfried waved his arms at Rory.

Z was on her way to fetch provisions for the Chimera slumber party when she cut through the park.

And found her roommate and some guy she'd never met--though he looked vaguely familiar; one of her workshops, maybe?--apparently torturing Artoo. "Um. Guys? Whatcha doin' there?"

"Ve are performing!" Siegfried cried, prancing over. "Ve are very great magicians. I am Siegfried, that beautiful man over zehr, he ist Roy, und dis ist our tiger, who is also Siegfried."

Artoo let out a deeply unhappy burble.
