The Park [early evening]

Siegfried, Roy and their white tiger were in the park, prepared to put on a Very Important Show.

Well, if the tiger wouldn't keep running off. And...beeping. What the hell was that about anyway?

Ah, gremlin bites. Luke and Gavin were going to unhappy tomorrow, but for now...

Siegfried turned to Roy. "Are ve ready?"

Artoo, who was not a tiger, made another run for it.

"Right dere, yah," Roy said, pointing. "And be verrrrrrrry steel."

Molly laid down and tried not to giggle at the accent.

Roy moved closer and, not even touching Molly, moved the stick in a sawing motion. He concentrated and Siegfried, standing over his shoulder, whispered words of encouragement.

And then, Molly was in two! At least, to Siegfried and Roy she was.

Molly was totally giggling now. "Is that it?" she asked excitedly. "Am I in two?"

"Joo are in two pesos!" Yes, pesos. Siegfried gasped and then ran over to clap Roy on the shoulder.

"Ve did it," Siegfried said. "Ve have did it!"

Molly decided to be a good lady-sawed-in-half and wiggled her toes so that the audience could see.

In Siegfried and Roy's world, the audience oooh'ed and ahhh'ed in all the right places.

Siggy and Roy basked in the applause of the invisible crowd.

"Ummmm, are you going to put me back together soon?" Molly asked. "My toes itch."

Roy laughed like a girl like a girl. "Und if we don't?"

Molly grinned evilly. "Then the principal will come and take your tiger away."

Siggy and Roy both gasped and they hurriedly put Molly back together.

"Oh, thank you," she said and stood up.

She posed for the "audience" and waved while making several exaggerated bows.
