Caritas - Friday evening [Open]

GOB was here.

So was booze.

Some nights, brevity ruled.

[OOC: This is one of those nights. I'm around but may be slow. Possibly napping, but I think I got that out of my system, hence the latish post.]

Deadpool eyed the stage, wondering if he was drunk enough for kareoke.

He took a sip of his beer.

Yup. Definitely too sober.

"My usual, good sir!"

Because Deadpool was mean like that. Or forgetful.

One of the two.

Which was sad really. Deadpool liked to think he was memorable. What with the bright red costume and all.

"The biggest most alcoholic drink in the house!"

Deadpool squinted at him. "I am the guy who normally orders that."

Lulu's cleavage walked into the bar. Followed by Lulu, of course, but it rather thought it deserved its own entrance. Or would, if it had any mind of its own.

Deadpool certainly didn't mind. It was a very nice cleavage. So nice, in fact, he might talk to it all night.

He really hoped radio wouldn't pick up on this. He didn't need to sleep on the couch tonight.

And it was hardly his fault for staring! Look at 'em!

Lulu raised an elegant eyebrow. "Hello," she said, amused. "I'm up here."

Deadpool shushed her, staring for a moment longer. "This might be one of the few chances I get for this around here. Let me hold onto what little heterosexuality I still have."

Lulu chuckled softly, even more amused. "Well, if you insist," she said mildly, not making any move to prevent him from looking.

Finally breaking his gaze, Deadpool looked up, a suspicious look on his face. "Is this a trick where it ends in me getting punched and or stabbed in the kidney?"

"Does that happen to you often?" Lulu asked, even more amused. "And no, nothing of the sort. I merely find your... open admiration to be refreshing. Besides, dressing as I do, I expect a certain amount of admiration."

She held out her hand. "My name is Lulu."

"I'm not certain about them," Lulu said, mildly, "but for myself, I was hoping to find something mildly, but not excessively, alcoholic. I must admit, I'm not yet familiar with the... local alcohols."

Lulu accepted the margarita from Tino, and raised her eyebrow in GOB's direction. "My name is Lulu," she said, holding out one hand. "And you?"

"Charmed, I'm sure," Lulu replied. "It's a... delightful establishment." Never mind that she was debating going back to her apartment to get some holy waters for the band; although the fact that they weren't glowing bright green did leave her slightly disconcerted, as perhaps holy water wouldn't work. So, for now, she ignored it; surely Rikku would know more. Sipping at her margarita, she smiled. "Ah, thank you," she said. "This is exactly what I was looking for."
