Today was another day at the post office.

Just to spice things up, Sokka was wearing his spiffy postal hat backwards. And he had brought in a book of poetry to read, but that plan fell through when Not Tiddles laid down on the book and refused to move. And glared at him.

George Michael got in a shipment of white chocolate. A small shipment. He was going to try it and see how much it was liked. That's why he was standing there eating one. With nuts even. He might eat two.

Damn his cooking skills to hell.

When Sora came into open the store, he some how seemed to have won over Apu. Maybe it was because of the squishy flavors that he chose for today, maybe he was just in a good mood. Who knew?

Stil he was actually letting Sora help him out with stocking the shelves!

The union had proved a worthwhile endeavour. Although Gunther clearly didn't approve River now had access to the kitchen and was responsible for Friday's specials. She hadn't been sure where to start.

Welcome to the Arms Hotel!
Today's Special
Mystery soup with tuna cookies.

The Arms Hotel is open.

[ooc: Unfortunately I won't be around after 8 am EST today.]

Quiet weeks didn't come along very often in Fandom, so Aziraphale was appreciative of this one. He hummed quietly under his breath as he set about getting the club open for the night, and then took a seat on a stool behind the bar to read the newspaper.

Leo had built a fort out of old cardboard boxes and was sitting inside taking a nap.

Photo Hut is open.

GOB was here.

So was booze.

Some nights, brevity ruled.

[OOC: This is one of those nights. I'm around but may be slow. Possibly napping, but I think I got that out of my system, hence the latish post.]

Naminé headed to Fina in the afternoon to help the cheese-grater and pepper-shaker set up.

By early evening, all the tables were in place. There was a long buffet filled with some of Fina's most excellent cuisine, a table or two of hors d'oeuvres, and a bar, which the pepper-shaker felt it was his duty to man.

The cheese-grater stayed by the front door, ready to greet people and assist them, while the plates took up trays of wine or petit fours and prepared to circulate.

The Specials Board read:

FACULTY APPRECIATION PARTY
Come enjoy a night of fine dining
While we say thank-you to the school's staff!

Naminé nodded. Now, to wait for their guests.

(OCD is coming)
