The Park, 10am Saturday-early afternoon

Yesterday's weather had worried Willow, but according to the weather report Saturday was warmer and so far snow-free.

Willow got to the Park early so she could set up. She cleared a space for dancing, set up music and some food that she'd brought along, then waited for others to show up.

[ooc: OCD a-coming Up! All are welcome. 'tis very informal in nature. And this only takes up a small part of the Park, so plenty of room for others to do Parky things without being crowded.]

He wanted to try not to lead with the dead wife while talking to a pretty girl. It was unclear how long this would last, given the state of his hormones, and he felt a blast of anger at Juliet for leaving him in this mess.

"You okay?" she asked, not sure how to take his reactions.

"I am ..." Romeo considered. "Not not 'okay' ." He might as well get the dead wife thing over with, if he was going to cry anyhow, and why had he spent half of today wanting to do that? Were his tear ducts malfunctioning? "I was wed. She died."

Brooke cringed, mentally facepalming. "Oh, god. I'm so, so sorry."

"You could not have known," Romeo managed. "It is unusual, I know, to wed so young and have it end in such a way. It was some time ago." He was staring at the sky very hard.

"Yeah," she said, still wincing. "I mean, a couple of my friends like just got married, so that part's not too unusual, it's just... Wow. So sorry. I can't seem to stop saying that."
