The Park, all day

Somewhere around dawn, a tent mysteriously appeared in the middle of the park. There was an air of mystery about it, and it was hard not to miss, and did we mention it was mysterious? Because it was.

Inside the tend was an equally mysterious fortuneteller, and you could tell she was a fortuneteller because of all the candles and the tarot cards and the crystal ball. Not many people travel with those things for fun and set them up in a tent, you know?

She'd be here probably all day, welcoming those who may be curious to get insight into their own futures...

"Yeah, it's Turtle," she said, nodding, eying the fortuneteller a little before stepping closer. Either she was very good...or simply had heard of Turtle Wexler, which she imagined was pretty likely, so she wasn't going to just to thinking this woman was that good quite yet. "And yeah, let's hear it."

"...Princeton! You fraud!"

Because, yes. It was the Princeton part of the entire thing that Turtle seemed to have the most issue with.

"Are you sure you're sure?" Turtle asked. "I'm pretty sure it should say Harvard."

"It bet it was stupid Doug Hoo's fault. He probably got a scholarship or something to...Wait. Doug? Jerkface Doug?"

"...and we're getting married on the moon?"

"...and having the honeymoon in the same place? Do you know how tacky that is?"

Turtle's nose wrinkled skeptically. "And eight kids? Where am I going to find time for that?"

Although Doug was a track star. His whole goal in life was to finish things as quickly as possible...

Which now got the thought of sex with Doug Hoo in her head, and she let out a long, disgusted groan, hands covering her red face.

Turtle crossed her arms over her chest.

"I want my money back."

"Oh."

That's right, she didn't.

"Well...good."

With that, Turtle nodded, and turned to go, shaking her head to the tune of muttered Princetons.
