Caritas - Monday evening [Open]

Fortunately, Jolee was over his cleaning kick. Unfortunately he wasn't over trying to get things organized a certain way. Now it was more to mess with Tino than anything else, though.

"No, no, no. That glass goes next. It's slightly larger," Jolee said. Tino just glared at him. "Look, one of us has Force Sight, the other doesn't. Now put them in the right order." Then he smiled. It was a fun night.

It wasn't too big a shock to see Jaina in here on a Monday, and she sort of raised an eyebrow watching Tino. It wasn't too big a shock to see Jolee messing with him, either.

Lois had got Jaina's message and headed down to Caritas a little after it got dark. She needed a drink what with her teachers pulling her bras out of cars for everybody to see.

"Hey," Lois said, sitting down in the stool next to Jaina. "Got your message."

"Would have been a great coincidence, you being here if you hadn't," Jaina said with a smile. "Bad weekend, you put the idea out there, I had to call it in."

"Coincidence, nothing. I would have been here anyway thanks to the underwear issues everybody's had today," Lois said. She ordered a beer from Tino before turning her attention back to Jaina. "So what's up? Why'd you have the bad weekend?"

Jaina sighed a little. "It's sort of a long story, but the most recent development is that I had to cop to being a completely selfish person who really shouldn't be on this planet anymore," she said, and that would be her taking another drink, yes.

"Trouble back home?" Lois asked after she had remembered that Jaina literally meant she shouldn't be on this planet anymore.

"Wartime back there," she explained. "I just got a nice little reminder that I'm here while almost everyone I know is back there dealing with it."

Murdock overhead 'underwear' and cocked his head to peer at the young lady from under the brim of his hat. "The Underwear Bandito?"

Murdock slid onto a barstool, pushing his hat up a little to better eye the bartender. "Whiskey. Better make it the good stuff."

"All we have is good stuff," Jolee said as he poured a glass for Murdock. "Well, we do have some bad stuff, but we only give that when it's requested."

He made a sour face, "What kind of deranged person would request the likes of that?" He took the glass and nodded, "Thanks pal. Did you have any problems with wayward undergarments today?" He could still fish for info, even if the day had largely been a bust. There was always tomorrow.
