Park Renovation [6/4, All Day]

Today there were bricks. Bricks and bricks and bricks. There was also a Xander standing next to them, and a dirt-trail already laid out for paving.

"No power tools or heavy machinery, what'm I gonna safety-lecture about?" he asked, scratching his head. Then he snorted. "Oh wait, this is Fandom, and I've met you people. Don't throw them, don't eat them, don't trade them to anybody for magic beans..."

There was more. It went on for a while. At one point he paused to feed a Twinkie to the small blue deer that nudged gently at his knee. That kind of while.

[OOC: is up! Grad project, but open to anybody who wants to help beautify the park.]

Xander didn't have to worry about Meg eating any of the bricks. She had never done paving before but she figured it couldn't possibly be that hard.

Oh hey, here was Anders, who'd had way too much fun working on the water features the other day. And bricks! There were bricks today!

Which he was happily laying out, working his way toward possibly having to take his shirt off later. Maybe. Possibly. Y'know.

Isabel figured it wouldn't hurt to help out. Plus it would be fun to hang out with people for the day.

After establishing that yes, he was totally allowed to help out, Bridge grabs some bricks and begins with the bricklaying.

Okay, Meg was working a little bit slower in the afternoon. It was hot and the whole paving thing was getting boring. But she was still more cheerful than the average person. Just because she was Meg.

Afternoon and lots of bricklaying, and . . . yeah, there went the shirt. Only there is no tattoo.

Anders might want to watch out for the incoming bottle of sunscreen.

Isabel was still working. Just taking lots of water breaks.

Okay, so Bridge already has work for the summer. But Xander's helping out with the project, and that means it's pretty likely that Bridge would be spending time here anyway, ogling visiting the boyfriend at work and such. So here he is.

"Hey, you."

I would show my support but I appear to be having some problems in that area.
