The York Gallery; Wednesday [ 01/14 ] -- Exhibit Opening! 8;00 pm.

It was the first opening of the year, and so Charlotte had made sure that everything was running smoothly and perfectly for it. Big (but not gaudy!) signs and bright lights to draw attention to the place, and enough food and snacks that she'll probably be eating the leftovers (or shipping them off to the station) for at least a week if the turn-out wasn't good.

And, at the crux of it all, in an exhibit that Charlotte found very thematic for winter was Chris Larson's Deep North, in a collection of photo graphs, sketches, multimedia videos and one very large contraption in the very center.

Charlotte really couldn't have imagined a better exhibit.

And she was also exceedingly glad that almost all of her clothes were dry-cleaned.

The York Gallery is open!

"Oh, I'm rubbish," Daisy admitted, waving a hand. "But being good isn't the point."

"As long as Simon Cowell isn't in the audience."

"Psh," Daisy snorted, letting out a laugh. "I know I'm awful; he could say whatever he wanted and be as mean and cross as he could, and I still wouldn't care, because I'm still cute and having fun."

"You are that." Tully agreed.

"Bless," Daisy laughed, "you're a sweetheart. You do much karaoke, Tully?"

"Not as such. I've been known to sing a bit when I've had enough to drink though."

"Then maybe we'll just have to get a few drinks into you."

"Why Miss Day are you trying to get me drunk?" Tully teased.

"No," Daisy said, shaking her head, but a grin surfaced. "Not tonight, anyway."

"Maybe another time then." he grinned back.

"Exactly," Daisy agreed. "I'll have to keep an eye out for you; you now owe me a song."

"I'm in Caritas fairly often." he told her. "Or you can usually find me at the lighthouse. Though I'd need to know ahead of time to bring something to drink. There's no stage there though."

"I think drinking in a lighthouse is generally something ill-advised, anyway. I'm always in Caritas, myself, though, and there's more than enough alcohol there."

"Well as long as you don't drink while your at the top of the tower." he joked. "Or on the stairs. At the bottom of the tower you're generally safe."

"Just so long," Daisy agreed with a laugh.
