Atlas Gym, Fandom Fight Club [Sunday Evening]

The gym was set up for fight club again, but with an important difference from the week before: Half of the area was devoted to the children. There were toy weapons, well-padded mats, and a large ball pit. The other half, for the adults and any students who remained their usual age, held the normal mats and safety equipment.

Ghanima looked vastly amused. "Welcome back, everyone. For the under-ten set, today we have your own special combat zone. Go have fun, and work it out amongst yourselves. I don't want to hear about it unless you're bleeding in a significant manner."

"If you drool on anything, mop it up," Tyler added, looking a little uneasy. He still wasn't comfortable around this many children. "Everyone else, we aren't assigning fights this week because there aren't enough of us to bother. Open sparring. Don't hit the kids."

"Or go play with the kids," Ghanima offered. "We won't judge you."

"We will be around if you have any questions, and I'll be near the beginner mats for the first half of the session. Now go to it."

Priestly went over backwards in the balls and let out a squeaky "RARRRR!" for her benefit.

"Ahahaahahahahaha..." Dinah flopped into the balls, giggling her head off, and made motions like she was swimming. "Priestly! Priestly. Priestly, you try to catch me!"

Dinah waded through the balls. "Monster's gonna get me. Monster's gonna get me. Noooooooo!" She started to speed up for the edge, panting. "Gonna 'scape! Almost theeeeere!"

"No 'scape!" Priestly lunged forward to try and grab her around the waist. "Nooooo 'scape!"

"AAAAAAAAAH!" Dinah went down, feet slipping as she went ploosh! into the balls. "NOOOOOO!" Flail, flail, reeeeach, sink. "I'm droooowning, the monster's GOT MEEEEEEEE!"

"That's right!" Priestly crowed. "And I'm a tickle moster!"

And there was much flailing in the ball pit, as Priestly wasn't exactly a master tickler, yet.

"Nooooo!" Dinah shrieked, flailing back. "No tickle! I'll tickle!"

And there was a lot *more* flailing, because the same was true of Dinah.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Priestly mostly just liked yelling. And flailing. Now he was the one trying to escape.

"EeeeeeEEEEEeeeee!" Dinah grabbed him around the middle and tried to hold him, but the giggling was getting in the way. "No! You has to staaaay!"

"YAAAAAAY!" Dinah tried to do a little dance, but she couldn't stand up. So it ended up as more of a flail-shimmy and then a tackle-hug. "YAY STAY!"

"Yes! And you're my friend tooooo! Always and always!" Dinah grinned and hugged harder, then let go, bouncing. "Okay, you want to be the monster 'gain?"

"I dun wanna play monsters. I wanna play . . ." He thought about this for a long moment. "I wanna play ball pit!"

And he flopped over, doing his four-year-old best to send balls flying up in the biggest splash he could.
