Atlas Gym, Fandom Fight Club [Sunday Evening]

The gym was set up for fight club again, but with an important difference from the week before: Half of the area was devoted to the children. There were toy weapons, well-padded mats, and a large ball pit. The other half, for the adults and any students who remained their usual age, held the normal mats and safety equipment.

Ghanima looked vastly amused. "Welcome back, everyone. For the under-ten set, today we have your own special combat zone. Go have fun, and work it out amongst yourselves. I don't want to hear about it unless you're bleeding in a significant manner."

"If you drool on anything, mop it up," Tyler added, looking a little uneasy. He still wasn't comfortable around this many children. "Everyone else, we aren't assigning fights this week because there aren't enough of us to bother. Open sparring. Don't hit the kids."

"Or go play with the kids," Ghanima offered. "We won't judge you."

"We will be around if you have any questions, and I'll be near the beginner mats for the first half of the session. Now go to it."

Pleased to have found that his sister organised a useful activity, Leto stood by himself, wondering how long it would take before someone tried to send him to the kid section.

He was amusing himself making up responses to that, with some help from certain ancestors.

Sarah was more interested in keeping an eye on the kids this week than in fighting. She stretched out and hoped no one would actually break a leg.

Lord, there were even smaller-than-usual children at the fight club. Cute and all. So not her style.

She did, however, know herself to be injured at the moment, and knew that being injured and fighting was against the rules. She was hoping to get a feel for if her scars were enough to be considered enough to have to pass up on the evening.

Minsc, on the other hand, was very glad to see so many wee little ones clamoring around. Start out young, start out well!

Plus, they were kind of cute. If not all fragile and little and stuff. And so long as they didn't bother the hamster, they were a-okay.

Katchoo had decided the tea thing looked boring, and now it was late and she had energy to work off and there were people playing in here.

Not that she cared that much about the people, but the playing, that was interesting.

Jen hadn't forgotten about fight club! If she was going to grow up and be a Power Ranger someday, she had to take her training Very Seriously. And there was a big note posted over her bed (she hoped she'd be able to write that neatly someday) with a reminder about it.

She'd put on her very best pink workout suit and carefully bandaged her remote-control morpher to her wrist before coming down to the gym.

And working on her stretches Very Seriously.

There's nerf weapons, well-padded mats, and a large ball pit. Go play King of the Mountain or something, and don't bother the adults unless someone breaks an arm.

Priestly couldn't remember precisely why, but this fight club thing had stuck in his head, and so he showed up.

And he was glad he did. BALL PIT! Yay!

Arthur still had his stick, but the nerf sticks also looked deadly (and big), so he had proclaimed one his. Actually, all of them were his. He wandered up to the ball pit, slammed the stick down on the edge, and declared it all, "Mine!"

Andros had totally been weetiny this weekend really knew that training was important but after he had arrived at the fight club he got distracted by the ball pit.

It wasn't long before he had forgotten the whole idea of training right then as he was content to play in the pit for a while.

With an inarticulate shriek of glee, Dinah threw herself into the pit and was swallowed up by the ball for a minute, only to explode upward with giggles to start wading toward the edge and do it again.
